Employee told me can't heat up croissant so I'm not about to get a cold croissant and decided to stop at Starbucks before getting on ferry instead.
Red Bay is of my favorite coffee shops. They recently started carrying Loquat pastries (highly recommend the spelt olive oil cake with earl grey frosting) and I really like their rose cardamom latte - it’s a February special and not too floral
Only place I know to get activated charcoal Latte. Thanks!

This is very much so overdue. When Red Bay moved to the Ferry Building during covid, I never hear of the brand and then I tasted their coffee and it was love at the first sip and I mean it. I do not drink any other coffee right now, I started to order them on line when I brew at home and they are my favorite.
If I am meeting a friend/date, it will be meeting at Red Bay coffee you best believe it.
I love the space and what they did it with it, how open it is and welcoming and the coffee is delicious, simple as that.

One of the best coffee places in the city. I like it better than blue bottle in the building and everyone there is so nice.

Ran out of drip coffee and didn’t tell me for about 10 minutes. Made a pretty crap Americano as a substitute. Then completely forgot about our other order. My Americano was served, scolding, hot, well beyond what you would want to serve coffee at. Do not recommend.

Nice place to visit in the Market place of San Francisco. I got a hot chocolate which was average and a chocolate croissant which was good. The place was fully packed, but we still could get a place to sit.

This place does do a very good coffee when done properly and the brownie I got was decent if a bit dense.
What lets it down is the service isn’t amazing. Both times we went in the server at the till seemed like they didn’t want to be there and my partner got a coffee 3/4 full after the staff seemed to suddenly change shift mid making the drink so it was started and finished by different people.

I went to this location because I was in SF for the day. But for some reason the drinks taste better at the location in Oakland. I got the cinnamon latte, it was good overall.

Ordered the charcoal latte and was pleasantly surprised at how this tastes. Before this experience, I never knew charcoal was used in coffee but now I'll have to track down a local version as I see this becoming my go-to flavor. Although not super friendly, the staff was not rude to me which since other review mention... Maybe they were the problem? Also my cup didn't leak and honestly, even if it did, it's not that big of a deal, just get another cup. Didn't WOW me but also wasn't bad, if I lived here, this might be a regular stop.
