Penang Garden Restaurant Reviews
My favorite here is the grilled pork chops (signature dish?) and the Hainan Chicken dish. The Hainan chicken flavored rice is good too.
Accidentally walked into this restaurant. Very tender meat, large portions, and expert prepared food! I highly recommend this authentic place with friendly staff.
My message to the low reviews: don’t go to a restaurant where Chinese people BYOB to celebrate. #culturalimmersion
Culturally authentic place with very generous waiters who wined and dined us.

Penang Garden Restaurant offers a delightful dining experience with its authentic Singaporean cuisine. The Singaporean spicy crab is an excellent choice, and the extensive vegetarian menu caters to diverse dietary preferences. The Hainan chicken and charcoal-grilled pork chop are also highly recommended, providing a flavorful and value-for-money dining option. Seafood is fresh, and the food is generally good, served quickly. The restaurant has a friendly and nice owner, and service is fast, making it a convenient place to enjoy a meal. However, customers should note that parking in Chinatown can be difficult, and some may find the service not very family-friendly, with staff sometimes appearing impatient. The Hainan chicken has a distilled flavor and can be served cold, as it is traditionally dipped in ice before serving, but it may take some time to prepare and could sit for a while before arriving at the table. Overall, the restaurant is a decent spot for authentic Singaporean dishes, though experiences may vary.
