Food was amazing also the vibes in this restaurant are spectacular it's very lively. I had ended up having a cocktail over wine of course the gimlet there was bomb I ended up having two. Service was overly great I must say like a little too great not saying that I don't like to be checked up on but any given moment things were cleared and we were asked how is everything ...glasses were always full. The potatoes were alright and the brussel sprouts the same. I wasn't really digging the beef short rib but the agnolotti dal plin ugh was so good I will come back just for this.

I recently came to Perbacco for a investor dinner that was a pre-fee with appetizers and drinks before hand. This restaurant is definitely beautiful, and I love that they have two floors and many spaces for private parties! The staff was so friendly, and the service was great. The only feedback I had was that for this event, we got a schedule saying that drinks would go from 5:45 PM until 6 PM, we would all be seated for dinner at 6:20, and eat once we are seated. However, the staff did not seat us until around 715, and we did not eat our first course until about 20 minutes after that. They took so long to serve each course that many people were actually leaving in the middle of dinner because it was long past the scheduled time. By around 8:30 PM we had just finished our entrées and had not yet been served dessert, so I'm not sure if this was an issue with the kitchen or the scheduling or how many private parties were happening That night, but the timing was definitely off and it affected the meal

Delicious food! when a restaurant can get me to eat endive, that's WOW. duck: yum! with kumquat and endive (caramelized with balsalmic?) pastas: all yum bread with honey riccota old fashioned fancy service. only complaint: loud. people all around us with loud distracting conversations.

We celebrated my husband's 65th birthday with our son and his family. The service was wonderful and the grandkids were treated so well by our waiters. It was an excellent experience for all of us.

My older Brunello wine was handled perfectly. Pasta dishes were outstanding. I was at lunch with an old friend and we spent a very long time at our table. Staff was appropriately attentative. Only "complaint" - corkage at $35 is above typical for me.

This place is not good. The beet salad was okay but the pappardelle (with gluten free pasta) was awful. Very disappointing especially at this price point. Service was nothing special and same goes for the ambiance. Will not be returning.

WOW! I was here once 6 weeks ago and Steven remembered me… my order…and the book I recommended! Talk about exceptional service! Perbacco is as excellent as all the reviews say but I would be remiss if I didn’t talk about my favorite bar tender in all of San Francisco! Go see Steven!

I had a business lunch here recently & had a wonderful experience. We didn't have reservations but were seated in the main dining room quickly. We started with the burrata which comes with stone fruit & was a light starter. We were also provided with complementary focaccia bread. Yum! I chose the Tajarin which features hand cut, thin tagliatelle, five hour pork and porcini mushroom Sugo. It was delicious & I ate every morsel. My co-worker had the Langaroli pasta & I sampled a little bite & it was yummy. I wanted to end the meal with a palate cleanser & close the citrus sorbetto, which was light & refreshing. Service was warm & helpful. I like the formal dining room with proper linens.

Our third time here and it did not disappoint us. Had a nice drink at the bar and was entertained by the Spanish barman.......he recommended a terrific gin (Monkey 47) for my G&T. We were seated about 20 minutes after our reservation as the place was buzzing and we had a nice 2-top in the middle of things. Our waited was excellent and understood all the menu and ingredients. Started with the Frito Misto and the variety of ingredients was nice and tasty. We then shared the Risotto and the Ribbon Pasta. The risotto was very delicate with a hint of lemon and the prawns were perfectly cooked. The ribbon pasta and short ribs were decadent with an elevated taste. We shared some frozen desserts that were just OK. Wine by the glass was nice but overpriced for the variety offered. We will be back..............

Fabulous! We had no expectations other than reviews posted. Service, attention to detail, visual food presentation, overall ambiance, courtesy, friendless and quality of food for price paid is definitely two thumbs up! I recommend this restaurant!

I met with two friends from a former job in the Financial District for dinner. We hadn't seen each other for five years. Perbacco was perfect. We enjoyed a 3 hour dinner with great hospitality.

We had a reservation here for Valentine's Day. When we arrived, we were 15 minutes early and seated right away. The ambiance is nice with a classy bar setting and nice booths or tables. The dining upstairs might be inaccessible for wheelchair users or those with movement impairments. I did not see an elevator. The service was swift and friendly, I always felt like we were taken care of. The server acknowledged that our entree was taking too long and checked on it without us asking. The food was delicious! We had a lovely potato and leek soup, pasta, and sorbet for dessert. Everything was fantastic! A bit pricey for the pasta but still within a reasonable range for an upscale dining experience. The only "miss" was the complimentary truffles given to us at the end. We couldn't eat them, they were too rich. We would love to be back!

Very impressed with the quality of the ingredients and the beautiful presentations. The vibe was very nice as you felt very comfortable while getting served hand over fist. The prices were probably the most reasonable for a fine dining restaurant in San Fran. I can say without hesitation this restaurant the food quality is Michelin quality. Overall I can't wait to dine once again at this wonderful establishment.

Great food and atmosphere. Only complaint: Our server asked if we wanted sparkling or still water. We asked for still, thinking tap water. They brought the still water in unopened bottles. We ended up drinking three bottles between the four of us. The bill comes and we were charged $9.00 per bottle, $27.00 for three bottles. We weren't asked between bottles if we wanted more, the servers just kept bringing more bottles. Hope they don't do this with wine! Anyway, it would have been nice to know that water was $9.00 per bottle.

Went for lunch yesterday. The owner, Umberto, said that pre-pandemic Fridays were the busiest day but now it's the slowest as most people don't go to the office. Fritto misto was delicious and a big portion of shrimp, green beans, fennel, olives, and maitake mushrooms with lemon aioli. Vitello tonatto was very good. Agnolotti dal plin were scrumptuous as always. Langaroli stuffed with braised short rib, great dish with a rich sauce. Cappellacci were one of the best vegetarian dishes I've had in a while: I don't usually like raw black truffle but maybe these cooked slightly from the heat of the pasta. That was plenty of food for two so just had a nicely salty caramel gelato and a little Testun al Barolo for dessert. Great meal. I think this is the best Italian-Italian (as opposed to Cal-Italian, French-Italian, or Italian-American) restaurant in the area. It's hard to find filled pastas that good in Italy.
