Nice place for happy hour when you’re in the mood for sparkling wine and oysters!

I am always on the lookout for a good oyster bar or restaurant featuring oysters. I honestly don't know much about what makes an oyster better than another or somehow tastier or more qualified, I just know when it's good, I can't get enough of them! Petit Marlowe was real cute. Ambience was on point, it was cozy and intimate, the food was great, but there was nothing to write home about. The whole experience was missing that je ne sais quoi aspect -- something to make it special or set it apart. My visit here was pleasant and enjoyable, I will definitely find myself visiting again!

Made a confirmed booking at Petit Marlowe. Arrived on time and was told that there's a private event so my booking is cancelled. They said OpenTable should not have been taking reservations. Petit Marlowe claims to have called everyone to inform them but I didn't receive any calls (in fact, I got a text asking me to confirm my booking which I did). The restaurant employee said we can go to Marlow so I asked if a table there is confirmed for us and if so, at what time. He reluctantly agreed to call Marlowe then told me to stand outside while he called them bec I couldn't be inside! Stand outside? Really? Treated so rudely when this mess up was completely on them and OpenTable!

The restaurant cancelled all reservations without notifying their customers because of a corporate booking. We watched 4 other couples get turned away without any assistance. They blamed Open Table stating that date was supposed to have blocked out. Open Table appears to be oblivious to this debacle. I will never book at Petit Marlowe again and I will no longer use Open Table.

We had a dinner reservation for 5:00 pm on a recent Thursday evening, confirmed through OpenTable. When we arrived there was a sign on the door stating the restaurant was closed for a private party. No correspondence about our reservation, no attention from the wait staff clearly visible through the front door, NOTHING. We'll never go back and I'll tell anyone who asks to stay FAR away from this LOUSY establishment.

Arrived for my 5pm reservation only to be told that the restaurant was closed for a private event!! No notification whatsoever. Will never ever patronize this restaurant in the future.

I visited this restaurant with my husband for a welcome dinner during Dreamforce. The food was exceptional along with the service. The oysters and beef were just so good. Would definitely come back for a meal when visiting the city in the future.

I had a lovely dinner with friends here a few days ago and I recommend you stop by too! The decor is charming and chic, while the food is fresh and classic. We went for a few glasses of bubbly and we sampled various dishes. Not to mention, the service was great! Our server, Bradley, was cool and attentive. I can't wait to come back soon!

Great food

We had a reservation with Open Table, but the restaurant booked a private event and declined to seat us. They said they moved our reservation to their sister restaurant, but it didn't have room when we got there.

Not sure what happened. I've been here twice, once for dinner and once for happy hour. Dinner was fine - was not particularly impressed. Happy hour threw me for a loop. I tried to order one deviled egg which according to the menu was $3 each. The server insisted that we had to order 3...which was just a normal appetizer. He stated that there was no option in ordering just one and that was the way the manager wanted it. Confusing. Subpar food. I probably won't be back.

Cute place not too far from Marlowe. I really enjoyed the seafood platter, the deviled eggs and fries. Dish sizes are small so we ordered some extra appetizers in the middle of the meal. I also recommend the bread and butter - delicious that we ordered 2 more.
