The café has a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere, and the ambiance is quite soothing. The egg salad sandwich was absolutely delicious, and the katsu chicken sandwich was juicy and bursting with flavor. However, the katsu chicken plate could have used a bit more seasoning, as it was somewhat bland. On the bright side, the croquettes were perfectly fried, and the yuzu soda provided a refreshing touch. Despite the minor seasoning issue, I would certainly return to dine here again.
I’ve gone to this place for Matcha / Hojicha lattes for the better part of a year at a pace of 3 times a week. The friendly cashiers at this point recognize me as I drive to bring a new coworker to the cafe each time.The drinks and food here are very consistaby and tasty: a little slice of Japanese home cooking in the middle of SOMA.It’s hard to say that I recommend everything on the menu with a straight face, but I will attempt to do so.
