I'm Spanish and I can say that this is the best Spanish restaurant in the Bay Area, I've been going there for 20 years.
It has the 3 b's, bueno, bonito y barato.
The food taste like home made, they serve good portions at a good price and very nice atmosphere.
Just be patient and positive with parking but for sure worthy.

Love this place. This is one of the places I take out of town visitors. The food is consistently delicious and the oysters and paella are amazing.

I had remembered a few decent meals here, but we went for our anniversary and honestly the food was just *bad*. I’ve always liked pimientos de padron but the ones here were really under-seasoned and lacked any flavor. The octopus had very little flavor as well and was not tender at all. The manchego cheese was honestly the only good small plate we had.

We ordered a seafood paella and it was also disappointing. Very under seasoned and the seafood was just way overcooked. The mussels were tiny, the shrimp was dry and rubbery. The clams were decent but that was the only thing that stood out. The rice itself was dry and flavorless.

The service was decent and quick and the staff was friendly. Sad to see the food they serve is as underwhelming as it is. The place has potential, but could do with a revision of the quality of its food.

Such a good place! The patata brava tastes sooo good. Bring me back to Barcelona.
The Tortillas, paella, blood sausage, octopus are amazing too.

Great food and one of the best value restaurants in San Francisco. They have a sangria happy hour, but drinks are very reasonably priced even when it’s not happy hour

My fav restaurant in the city. Love the food, servers, and atmosphere. I even have a chat group called Picaro lovers. Quality and price are great! Totally recommended :)

Big portions, big flavor! Paella was authentic and delicious. Sangria was perfect. Friendly staff made the whole experience even better. Loved Picaro!

This place is great! The interior is a bit dated/ nothing special but the food, drinks and service more than make up for it!

I was an employee, and also a somewhat frequent consumer, we always went with my family, spectacular food and music, the artistic representation that resides in this establishment, sublime, they are very much in line with the Spanish aesthetic, it feels like I was in Europe... .
