My friend said it very well- the check was the fastest thing that came to our table.

no hospitality/service. food/drink is okay, not worth it.

Had lunch here on Oct 2, 2025 around 12:30 PM. We sat at the bar and were completely ignored the entire time no one cleared our plates, refilled water, or checked on us once. Other tables got great service while we were treated like we didn’t exist.

When I emailed the restaurant, the Assistant Manager’s reply was generic and unprofessional, showing zero accountability and no real intention to improve. It perfectly reflects their lack of staff training and management standards.

I honestly can’t believe this restaurant has any staff training or a manager who actually does their job.

I was so excited that Piccino opened a new location on the west side of the city! It’s just as good as the original. We had a great dinner when my mom was in town visiting. The pastas and drinks are always sublime. Also, the flower arrangement on the bar that night was so artistic and beautiful — I think they said the owner made it! So cool.

If they can charge $35 for veggie pasta, they can afford table linens.

Delicious fresh and seasonal, some of the best Italian food we’ve had in sf and the source their food from local farms. Great after a day of walking around exploring the presidio. A new go to spot!

Food was great. 20 dollar hidden surcharge on every order. Full on scam. Don’t patronize this place.

Food is mediocre— even the pizza was sub par. We were overcharged for an appetizer. Coming from the authentic food scene in LA, this was terribly disappointing.

Piccino is like many restaurants in San Francisco - the food is great but it’s overpriced.

I was there with three other people and the total bill including tip was about $230. We only drank water (no alcohol), had one pizza, two pasta dishes and two appetizers. Many people will argue that’s just what it costs these days and they’re probably right. But that much for a few bowls of pasta and a pizza? Seems excessive.

Had a fantastic meal - fresh, creative, delicious! Nice ambiance and friendly service. Easy and plentiful parking in garage (they validate for a discount). This is our new go to place!

Piccino Presidio is an absolute gem! I started with the heirloom tomato salad, featuring tuna tonato, caper relish, and sourdough croutons, it was bursting with fresh, vibrant flavors and beautifully balanced textures. The braised lamb ragù was equally impressive: rich, savory, and perfectly comforting. The quality and taste of every dish were outstanding, and the attention to detail was evident in each bite. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone seeking thoughtfully prepared, delicious food in an upscale hip setting.

Great service. Beautiful space with fresh wildflowers arranged by owner in locally made pottery. Delicious food nicely presented.
