This restaurant is amazing when you dine there but this is the first time I got delivery. My ceviche was basically a whole sliced onion, some sweet potato and some fish that was throwing 10 ft away. Not worth the price. I also ordered some fries which was $8. They gave us like a handful of fries which would have probably cost him. $0.50 to make would never have delivery again

Boring food. No flavor except for the need to change the grease they cook with. Gross!! We waited more than 30 minutes for pupusas.

Crazy good food, fantastic Friendly attentive service. Arrow con mariscos was a big hit. That home made passion fruit juice hit the spot too.

Surprisingly pleasant restaurant nestled atop Bernal Heights that is worth trying. The place is not very large but welcoming, making you feel comfortable from the moment you step in. It is has a "San Francisco" feel: not fancy nor pretentious, just a restaurant you would want to go on whim. Very interesting menu with several items we wanted to sample. Great service - friendly and attentive. The food was well prepared and presented. We had the Ensalada Nuevo Andino which reminded of my time spent in Lima decades ago. Scallops A Los Willy - nice. Ceviche Mixto - another Peruvian specialty and the Seafood Paella. Evrything was pleasant.
The restaurant was full.... not a surprise.

Having passed by this restaurant numerous times, we thought we'd give this place a try for lunch. Indeed we were pleasantly surprised. We ordered the calamari and the beef short rib. The spices used on the short rib was so lovely and the beef was sooo tender yet juicy. Also ordered the paloma cocktail - it was also quite good. Worth another try another day !

Tasty Peruvian food. Service could be better. Also noticed that they've started charging for things that used to be offered as complimentary, like the plantain chips. We particularly enjoyed the ceviche mixto, the tequenos, short ribs, salmon, and paella.
Overall, it is a good place to enjoy some good quality Peruvian cuisine.

Piqueo's has been open for 14 years. I've been a fan ever since. One of my go-to places. The staff is aways friendly. The music helps to set the mood and vibe. I prefer the small plates to share so we have more dishes to try. But the larger entrees are not to be missed. On this latest visit, we started with the Quesadilla de Pato. The outer portion was flaky and this was packed with duck. So hearty and delicious. We also shared the Camarones Crocantes. Huge crusted prawns so meaty, served with a smooth, silky puree of sweet potatoes. Although I love their ceviche, on this occasion we opted to share the larger entree Chancho Abodado, a tender pork dish. Also very hearty. There were just two of us, but this was more food than we could handle. Lucky me I love leftovers.

When it comes to Peruvian cuisine, I can be very picky. As a native born Peruvian, I know what authentic peruvian food tastes like. Piqueo's was no disappointment. Our dishes Our bursting with flavor, and the chicha morada and maracuya perfectly sweeten and refreshing. Not only was the food wonderful, but the service was on point. Very courteous and attentive wait staff. Hands down, a great experience.
