Pizzeria Delfina - Pacific Heights

This spot is still a winner! We hadn't been there in several years and was pleased to find that everything we ate was delicious. We were also tempted by their seasonal specials and the dishes we saw passing by, and vowed to return soon.

Amazing food as always, though one of the pizzas was a bit soggy. Service was inattentive and dismissive.

Food is very fresh and well prepared. Some portions are on the small side. Definitely worth a visit!

The food, like always, was delicious. Service was another story. The server totally messed up the timing on the order, and dropped an entree only 1 of us could eat. So we sat there, for 30 minutes. He finally came over and said our pizzas were coming in 5 minutes (we didn't flag him down, he wasn't apologizing, just letting us know). 20 minutes later, our pizzas came, dropped off by other staff. He never once checked on us, not on our drinks, not to ask if the food was good, nothing. We watched every table around us sit, order, eat, pay, and leave. All while we sat there. He didn't even drop our check or take our payment. Guess we'll stick to takeout from here.

Great service! Very friendly. Pies were awesome, but appetizers were even better. We had figs with a smoky cheese that was fantastic! Can't wait to try it again.

Staff was great. Our waiter (I regretfully do not recall her name) was especially good (and patient) with our indecisive party.

I love Delfina Pizzeria and go regularly when I meet friends in SF. Not only is their pizza delicious but the tricolor salad and tiramisu are a must!

Wow - picked a super place - Pizzeria Delfina - while visiting San Francisco! The Tricolore salad was very fresh and tasty. Had the superb Salsiccia Pizza which was one of the best ever! I give it a 10 on all three of essential parts of a pizza - the crust, the sauce and the toppings! Very nice service from everyone. Check out Pizzeria Delfina!

We have been going here for over twenty years. This is by far the best pizza in the West side of town. The menu changes with the seasons. The food portions are good and well priced. We typically take out a half-baked pie but wanted to dine in. It was better than a to go order. We might just have to start showing up in person. Craig Stoll knows his stuff.

The salad was great! The pizza was great! The dessert was great! The service was great! Kudos!

This has to be one of the most welcoming places in the city. We were supposed to be seated outside but I asked in online for inside if there was a cancellation. And they made it happen. The food was as good as the service.

Not just for pizza! The eggplant parm was excellent, as was the Pomodoro pasta...fresh & well sauced. 1 meatball for 3 of us to taste and it was good, too!

My favorite pizza place in SF and maybe the world. Great appetizers, too. The brussel sprouts cacio e Pepe were to die for! I miss the chalkboard and the line out the door before they took reservations :-) It was part of the fun.

Food was really bad! Very bland! Service was very poor! We were on table 8! Server's name was not stated on the bill. It says “dinner s” We ordered a $60 wine with our dinner and our server just simply left the wine on our table without serving it to us. Is that a common practice now at your restaurant ? We always order wine when we dine out and it's always pour it for us . We asked for extra glass of water and we had to remind him 3 times! We also asked for extra wine glass and we had to remind him 2 times. He never returned and never asked if we needed anything. It was not a busy night. It was really service and the food was bad as well. You need to talk to this server. I did not tip him good because of the poor service. It was a really bad experience.

Fantastic food, service, and the new design of the restaurant is fabulous. Really enjoyed the prefixed meal for restaurant week!
