This location closed. A usual stop for us when in SF. Food is okay but at tourist area prices. The menu hasn't changed much over the years. Dont get me wrong it's a worthwhile place to eat when you are in this part of town.
Great seafood! If you come at lunch in the winter, they have a lunch special. You can buy clam chowder in a bread bowl for $6 and fish and chips for 7. Been here many times, and it is consistently good. Also the cheapest food on fisherman's wharf.
Rock cod and veggies was amazing! Sauce was made from fresh garden tomatoes. Fish tacos were good, they also had fresh garden tomatoes. I would have liked a little more delicate breading on the fish (not so thick and crunchy) and a crema sauce instead of tartar sauce to go with it. Cabbage instead of lettuce would be more authentic and cilantro would have been nice. Makes me want to go home and make my own--I think I will, haha. I'll add a little bit of mango and plenty of...
