The Pork Store Café is a half block away from my pal Eyeball Joe's place so when I visit him we always get our food delivered, it comes hot and fast right from the kitchen. A local institution which has been established on the street, or rather on 1451 Haight Street, for more than 50 years, recommended by an American passer-by who spontaneously recommended it to us upon seeing our faces of tourists potentially looking for a place to relax. sustain yourself in the neighborhood!

I appreciate the vegan options, but it's pretty oblivious to offer vegan breakfast and neither margarine or olive oil for one's toast. I hope they remedy this. (I would have just emailed the owners but couldn't see any way to do so.)

Hi Mike. Keeping it real: I did ask for olive oil and was told you didn't have any. If there were a way to contact you via email, I would have been happy to, and would still be happy to, communicate that way...
