Had such a nice experience! If you want to back to a nice small restaurant with every dish meant for you and not 250 others in the next half hour...go here...

Costco meatballs and grocery store pumpkin cheesecake. Overall very kind and attentive family restaurant. I wanted spaghetti and meatballs and that is what I got. Unfortunately it was not very appetizing. The sauce was lacking in flavor and the meatballs were the frozen ones from Costco. They were generous enough to give me a piece of pumpkin cheesecake which I saw them cut from a store bought container. Maybe their seafood pastas are actually from scratch? Be wary though. Overall thanks for your hospitality. I regret spending $30 on Costco food.

Had a really good experience, Frankie and the other staff were very friendly and personable. Highly recommend the crab cakes and tiramisu, they were excellent. My girlfriend and I shared the cioppino which was good and had us feeling full.

We ordered eel and other seafood pasta, which was very delicious. The service was excellent. The boss is Italian and very amiable. We had a great evening. We will come again

Parking: Plenty of parking nearby. It just takes a bit of walking.

The truth is that this place left me pleasantly impressed. Frankie the owner is a person who makes you feel as if he himself had invited you to his restaurant. Very cozy. And the food is delicious. I suggest you be guided by the specials, which are, without a doubt, the best dishes on the menu. The place is highly recommended! We ate two special dishes and 2 glasses of wine and the price was around 90usd with tip included. I suggest making a reservation, the place is small and they may not get a table immediately

This is a San Francisco gem that we only just discovered. Wow, what an amazing experience. You want fresh fish? Go here. You want great but unobtrusive service? Go here. You want to go to North Beach but avoid the Tony's Pizza crowd (btw, we love Tony's), go here. You want a great small restaurant ambience that is totally authentic to North Beach? Go here.

My wife and I were discussing what to order off the menu when the owner of the restaurant pointed out the fresh fish they just got that very day. We could not resist ordering the fresh catch (my wife got the halibut, I got the swordfish). There is nothing better than fresh fish cooked simply and this is what we got. It was, simply put, amazing. The pasta and incredible marinara sauce it was served with was itself great, but secondary to the fish.

We got to meet Johnny and if you're there, ask about him. In sum, we had the most wonderful of experiences here and will come back over and over again.
