Went here because they had decent ratings. The food was okish but not worth the price. Shrimp scampi turned out to be more like prawn pho. The best part of the lobster ravioli was the pink sauce it came in; the pasta was overcooked and the filling tasteless.Service was slow, we had trouble getting attention from our server, and they gave us the wrong check. We elected to sit outside and were sat next to some bins.We wouldn't go back.

Fish and chips were very good. Unfortunately service not at all. Ordered 3 meals and 3 beers. After a while 2 meals came, then nothing. Asked again about the rest, the type of beer is all, okay others were taken. A little later the drinks finally arrived and even later the missing soup. The bill was also mixed up, but at least that was quickly corrected. But if you have better luck with the service it can be good because the food was good.

It is my first time to complain, I have always ordered food through Uber Eats and the presentation has been excellent and on 03/03/2024 I ordered dinner and it arrived so cold, a bad presentation, the taqueria-style food, I honestly did not like it, it always came better presented the lemon inside a bag so that the seeds do not come out, the food with something thermal so that it does not cool down quickly. And this time it was terrible, it was the worst delivery I received from the restaurant, I honestly felt very uncomfortable because it is not the first time We ordered food from Porto Fino ? and it wasn't the delivery person's fault because he arrived very quickly and was very efficient ?

The wait wasn’t terrible, was told 15 min, we waited 15 min. It’s loud and yet somehow cozy at the same time. Loved all the fishing lures hung from the ceiling. Didn’t expect lures to make such good ceiling decoration!I enjoyed the gnocchi with shrimp, it was good, however; I have had better. If you are a gnocchi person, maybe order your second favorite dish. My friend had ordered the special crab pasta with pancetta - it looked quite delicious.I recommend dining here! Service is great and food was delicious.

Came here on a Sunday night and it was fairly empty around dinner time. The vibe inside is very homely, and you can tell it's a small family-run business from the family members hanging out around the restaurant. The place has a lot of charm from the quirky decor inside and unfussy plating. It's a small place, so service can be a bit slow and it was hard to get any of the workers' attention at times -- they seemed a bit distracted. Our experience wasn't the best -- the door kept being left open so it was quite cold inside, which made the dinner less enjoyable because the food got cold very quickly. On top of that, some of the family members (?) in the restaurant were shouting at each other, which disrupted the otherwise peaceful environment a few times. The food was not bad, but overall flavor profile leaned towards pretty salty and greasy. They provided a ton of bread (basically each dish we ordered came with some form of bread) and all of it was very good! Especially the buttered toasted bread. But even the free bread was great. The lobster roll was yummy -- loved the flavor of the lobster especially, which went well with the buttered roll. The side of clam chowder wasn't the best I've had -- it was quite starchy rather than creamy. We also got the cioppino and crab carbonara. The carbonara had a great flavor but was quite heavy and oily, but I liked the addition of mushrooms to the dish. The cioppino had a really comforting flavor, and the calamari in it was fantastic. The crab didn't have much flavor unfortunately, which was a bit disappointing.

Such a cute local restaurant with excellent food and service. Everything on the menu is fresh and flavorful. The dining area is quaint and the people are so kind.

The BEST clam chowder I've ever had. It's flavorful, fresh, light but still really indulgent. When I'm in the neighborhood I always try to drop in for a cup with their fresh bread. Don't forget to check their fresh specials, which are always at a great price. Staff are super friendly and owners are long time locals. A neighborhood staple in the heart of North Beach.

The boss was super nice. He knew we were coming from Singapore and gave us some crab meat. Needless to say, the food is fresh and plentiful. Don’t be fooled by Fisherman’s Wharf! !

Great food, cool retro vibe and interesting neighborhood makes it a Good Eats spot for me. The cioppino will leave you longing for the flavors long after you've eaten it. If in SF you must dine here.
