Possibly, if not definitely the best sandwhich I've had in the city. Came in for Porchfest and they were fast and friendly.

Kinda disappointed…. I was looking for a sandwhich spot and saw this recommended on TikTok, and got the recommendation of the panda sandwich . There was like 2 slices of pastrami on it, when on the vid there was so much . The sandwich was VERY uneven too… only meat on one side of it so each bite wasn’t consistent.

Took them 40 minutes to make two sandwiches. They were good when we got them, though.

I tried the Barney Rubble without avocado and it was tasty. Will definitely try this place again if I’m in the area and want a sandwich. I recommend ordering ahead if you’re going over the weekend because it was a 30 min wait on Saturday.

My go-to sandwich place rn. I love that's it's a lil saucy and feel big enough to be worth the money

I’ve been coming to Rhea’s Sandwiches since 2012 and it still absolutely delivers. I’m a “make your own” person every time, and my go-to is turkey on a whole wheat roll — and honestly, their sweetened pickle is the little detail that seals it for me. It’s that perfect tangy/sweet bite that makes the whole sandwich pop.
The consistency here is unreal. Huge shoutout to the crew behind the counter making the magic happen — you’re the reason this place stays one of the best sandwich spots in San Francisco.
