I took my sons here for dinner. We took advantage of the Restaurant Week menu. This was such a good deal! We each had 3 courses. I chose the Fritto Misto, tagliatelle bolognese, & tiramisu. Everything was amazing! The fritto misto came on a huge platter & my kids kept eating my appetizer while they had their own Caesar salads to eat. The pasta was honestly a small portion. I wonder if this would be the same size if it's not part of Restaurant Week. I didn't...
I've tried Ristobar about twice a year since it's opening, and before today, always left a bit disappointed (limited menu, average service, etc.) This time was different, in a very good way! The restaurant was redesigned to separate the bar area (packed!) and the restaurant (all tables full). The menu was expanded, with many choices for salads, appetizers, pastas and main courses. We tried the Gorgonzola salad, but unfortunately, it was lacking the Gorgonzola. With that...
They are changing the menu. While the food is good, a number of menu items which we liked, which is one reason we went there, are no longer on menu. For example pinsa is now just 2 boring items. Also pinsa and meats appetizer which was great is gone. New management is changing menu to simplify and probably reduce costs. But the overall is to reduce the variety of foods. Please get rid of new management
