Quick and easy meal!
I'm a huge Rooster and Rice fan, and I get their food frequently at other locations in SF.
BUT this specific one at 1 Stanyan St is not good. The chicken quality is noticeably worse than the other locations. Even the way they cut it is bad. And they seem to give less of it as well.
If you work there, and you're reading this, just get the same order from this location and the 125 Kearny St location, you will immediately see the difference.

The folks working here are always kind. Just wish whoever owns this franchise would have cash in their till for people who want to pay and tip in cash.
Rooster & Rice offers hot, fresh food with delicious sauce. Customers can enjoy tender, juicy chicken and great service. While online ordering may have some issues, the in-store customer service is excellent. The rice is seasoned well with chicken broth, and the soy ginger dipping sauce enhances the flavor of the slightly dry white meat. Overall, a good dining option with friendly staff and tasty dishes.
