I want to start with two caveats. First is that I am a ramen snob. When I rate ramen restaurants, I'm comparing them to the best ramen I've had. And I've had a lot. The second is that this is not bad ramen. If you are in the area and you're looking for ramen, this will hit the spot, especially on a cool day.

That said, reading the reviews of the tonkotsu ramen, I can't help but conclude that the quality has declined over the years. The pork truly is delicious and was the most outstanding part of the ramen.

The broth was too thin and a bit bland. A good tonkotsu broth should have a rich mouth feel from the collagen from the simmering bones. This broth was more like a standard soup broth. It had a creamy appearance, but the texture and flavor weren't there.

The noodles were also just fine They were a touch overcooked; they had no chew to them. And because the broth was thin, the noodles tasted bland because they didn't get that thin coating of broth that I look for.

So all in all, I was happy with my experience because I was in the area on a cool day and was in the mood for ramen. But this is definitely not a place I would come out of my way for.

Was looking up ramen and we decided on this place.
The noodles are my favorite part of this deliciousness soup!
The coconut was perfect too.
Will have to come back and try different ones.
My friend who is vegan liked it too.
Fast and friendly service too.

Food was ok. The other ramen restaurants around may outshine this spot.

I had a pretty bad experience sometime ago, when I dined at this restaurant. Had ordered the Veg Ramen and the Japanese curry After I had eaten a little bit of the ramen, I noticed a bug in the ramen and brought it to the server's attention. He first tried to brush it off, and later just mentioned that it may be from the veggies they got. I wasn't going to eat the rest of the ramen after this. I expected he would waive off the price of the ramen. Any other restaurant, where I had such a situation i.e. finding foreign objects (bugs, hair, plastic, metal) in the dish, has always waived off the dish. Instead , he 1st insisted that he would just give me a partial discount since I had already eaten some of it. When I kept insisting, that the ramen should be waived off , he made a RACIST comment, trying to suggest how he sees Indian people do this often i.e. make up problems with the food to get free food. So the staff of this restaurant does not bother to clean the ingredients before cooking them and then tries to blame to customers about it. Not sure if the server even works there anymore. But not going to visit this restaurant after such an experience.

Service was good (not great), and our server was very friendly. I have zero complaints. The food, though, was almost universally... not hot. Flavors were good, maybe even great, but seemed like they either needed a few more minutes of heating or should have been fried at a slightly higher temperature. Another thing that was weird was the kitchen was oddly loud. Like the chef in there was making it a point to make sure people knew activity was going on in there.

The ramen was really subpar. The server was nice but the food was just incredibly lacking. The ramen felt like it was thrown together with no thought, the egg was cold, and it was very bland. Would not recommend when Hinodeya is right down the road.
