I've come here on my last two SF visits. We usually sit outside and get the dungeness crab, which was $30/lb last summer. The crab is precooked, but they rewarm it in whatever sauce you choose (none, garlic butter, spicy garlic butter). I've had it with no sauce, which was great. Spicy garlic butter was also nice (but is a lot of butter). It's nice that they break up the crab to make it easier to eat.Overall it's very tasty and a reasonable price. I'd definitely come again! Eating dungeness crab on the Wharf is always a good time.

While visiting Fisherman's Wharf , we were looking to sample some seafood and landed in Sabella & La Torre.Although the restaurant looks small, there is plenty of seating. Indoor has an old school vibe, with a small bar and lots of booths. The food was good, with some items being better than others. The calamari and lobster roll were great. The fish and chips were cooked well, but could have used more spice in the batter. The crab cakes and clam chowder bowl were good too.The place was clean and the staff extremely friendly. Prices are on the higher side, but that's expected when you visit a seafood restaurant on Fisherman's Wharf.

I wanted to like this place, after all, it is right within Pier 39 under the iconic strip of stalls. This restaurant had the most folks dining (80% full) on a Monday lunch hour. The prices here are exactly the same for each restaurant or stall, this is the perfect competition illustrated IRL.The clam chowder was served hot, filled to the rim. Plenty of clams, plenty of cream - But there wasn’t a “wow”. I had the cold crab, I feel like that is something that has to be done right in a restaurant like this. I have had many crabs served in every way possible in my lifetime. This one I had at Sabella’s was a 5/10 at best. The meat was soft and mushy at the body, which is indication that the crab was not fresh. The flavor was also not impactful, no sweetness, not enough salt. Seems like it was cooked and placed in a bed of ice for a while. It was however cracked perfectly and required little additional work to get the flesh out.The service is wonderful and with a warm smile. The atmosphere is part of the charm.

I like the vintage vibe of the restaurant. Staff outside are very nice and fast in enticing people to go in. The food is so so.

The seafood was moderately fresh, but the accompanying sides and sauces could be better.

Very impressed how they ran their service! Raquel was one of the best servers I’ve had anywhere. El jefe was very hospitable and diligent! Tight space but could fit a lot of people! The food was quick, authentic, and huge portions! They are diligent to get people in and out to keep the tables full! Outside service as well so the kitchen keeps food for two mini restaurants.

Got garlic crab and chicken parm, wife said carb was better when she added salt. My chicken was good just little expensive for pasta and chicken in my opinion. Server had almost no interaction but she seemed nice. This place is a solid 3.5 but I'll give it a 4 cause I've had wayyyyyy worse here in SF and I think they are a genuine restaurant. :)

Great place to start your day with a good crab sandwich. The menu is simple and easy to prepare. The crab salad is fresh. The service was nice. There is a lot of room for you and your friends. The price is fair. Not my first time there and every time I’m in town I get to go and grab a
