This used to be a wonderful favorite with amazing food, and bustling with Indian people. What on earth happened? No customers in there on a Friday night. Zero, just us. No decor or soft lighting. One wall completely blank. A giant TV playing the worst of Bollywood in the other. And the food… I could taste some of the ingredients came out of a can or were not made that day. The service: for some reason I had to repeat everything I said. Perhaps it was the loud TV? Every so often then server would come out and sit on a stool and look at her phone, right next to a pile of cardboard boxes. Just sad.

This used to be my favorite restaurant in SF - super fresh ingredients used, not too heavy, really great service. I don't know what happened but ~2 years ago things started changing. The food got heavy (a lot of cream), the quality of ingredients changed... This used to be the best place to get yellow daal, coconut curries, tandoories, rogan josh, saags, etc... I would come back any day if the recipes were reverted to 2022/2023.
Great freshly made delicious Indian food. Had great saag lamb, chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, mango lassi. All great

Amazing place! Everything I order from here is delicious. If you dine in you receive some kind of flat bread with sauces (highly recommended). Ordered fish a few times and it was cooked just right. Lamb meatballs (hydrabati kofta) and chicken tikki masala might be my favorites.
