Good sandwiches but they steal your change so there is some unethical business practices there. They’re CASH ONLY so I recommend to bring the exact amount because they won’t give you any change back. I also saw them drop a loaf of bread on the floor and throw it off to the side but not in the trash so…I hope they won’t use it. Busy and small family owned shop. Just don’t expect top tier service…or expect to get your change back.

if they don't add 100% of their mayo and special sauce to your sandwich, it's dry as fuck and tastes like sh*t. Also check to see if they gave you 40% of their normal fillings because once again, it can taste like sh*t if they give you no filling (doordash pics are false advertisement and it looks bursting - don't believe it) wish i took a pic of how dry and no filling my sandwich was...

Honestly... giving this place a 5 stat because it is actually good, it is so big, and less than $5. Enough said..... The area is a bit sketch, but you won't be there for too long so it is okay! Come with a friend as parking can be hard. It can get pretty busy but they are fairly quick. I have never heard of anyone arodering a sanwich from here and being dissapointed. Our group recently orderd 1 pork, 1 tofu, 1 chicken, and everyone was satisfied.

I got the meatball and the combination. The meatball was a little too sweet for my liking, but it was still very filling. I like the combination more than the meatball one. Both had a lot of pate so if you don't like it make sure to let them know. They were very fast & made to order. It's cash only, and I found parking nearby but this place is in Tenderloin so be cautious.

One of my favorite spots in the city. I remember back when I first came here a long time ago, the banh mi were $3.75. I'm glad that they only raised their price a little bit because they still have a flood of customers coming in and out. I am also glad to see that they haven't changed anything like their restaurant. I love that it is still a small place like it once was and is true to its originality! You cannot go wrong with any banh mi you choose. I usually get the Thit Cha or the Cha Lua and it never disappoints! Banh mi are always made fresh and they are very generous with their meat. Service is fast! Parking is any meter spot. CASH only!
