We love this ice cream place not just because of their delicious flavors. They always have, or because of the monthly new flavors that they cook up all the time. But we also love it because they always have vegan options. We don’t do well with dairy, so we’re always willing to take dairy pills to have these delicious flavors. But we also love that they are vegan flavors are also high-quality! It’s nothing fancy, it’s just ice cream. But they do it very well.

Very artificial tasting flavors, perhaps why they add so many ingredients to one ice cream flavor. Specifically, I tasted the strawberry/balsamic, and pear/blue cheese. Death by choclate cake, was a whole lot of ingredients that didn't quite come together favorably. They were happy to give out samples.

Joey on the hay Street location assault and straw is the goat. We got to try so many different samples and flavors and he was so cool about it and always has great energy always makes us feel happy and super blessed and filled with light every single time we leave salt and straw. the ice cream just taste better when Joey’s there. Got two flavors split scoop: Cinnamon Snickerdoodle and Sea Salt w/ Caramel Ribbons. I think the value is decent and it was definitely a lot of ice cream for a me.
Got to sample a ton of flavors that were very interesting, including: Strawberry Honey Balsamic, Goat Cheese Marionberry Habanero, and pickled cucumber Sorbet.
It was kinda dirty in this area (streets/sidewalk) and also dirty inside (tables and floors). But it seemed clean behind the counter, so I wasn’t worried about the ice cream being contaminated.

Love that they always have delicious dairy-free flavors! Not a place to sit and eat, but good to grab and walk on a warm day. There’s 2 standing tables inside and usually 2 benches out front. They’re also dog-friendly.
