Favorite sandwich shop in SF. Can't say enough good things about this place! The guy who runs it is super cool, you can just tell he's a great guy who makes great sandwiches. Their chipotle maple aioli makes their breakfast sandwich one of the best in the city.

Captain Planet is sooo GOOD!! Usually vegan sandwiches are pretty lame but this one was perfect! Loved the vegan cream cheese and wheat roll, truly superb. Didn’t fall apart and kept well on my layover. THANK YOU

i think this is the beat breakfast sandwich in SF (and the best bang for your buck!) plus the cardi b latte is amazing! i dont even like tuna that much but im obsessed with their tuna sandwich, plus they have actually good and hearty vegetarian sandwiches which us hard to find!

This place deserves more reviews! It was SO good! They are super friendly and helpful with answering questions, you can choose from their sandwiches, or do a build your own. The food is delicious, super good ingredients. Definitely stop here for a quick lunch!

Best Sandwiches in town! Here does not the size matter only (and size is good anyway), but the QUALITY counts first! Nice guys at the counter and preparation area (you see, what you get). Coffee very good also! Over all: the good rating here in google is well deserved. Greets from Germany, I’ll be back 😋
Cuban sandwich was one of the best I’ve ever had , large portions and great spice level. Breakfast sandwich was also fantastic , chipotle maple mayo was life changing. Will be back next time I’m in Frisco ;)

10 out of 10. Highly recommend no matter whether you’re just grabbing something quick to go or you wanna dine-in for a bit (like I did). Service was great and the sandwich was even better. I just randomly stopped in for the first time and the guy at the counter was very patient and didn’t rush me to order. Even suggested their best seller.
The sandwich itself was very meaty and the bread was perfect. Better than Subway, Jersey Mikes, Firehouse, etc. Gave a three star for atmosphere because well… there is no atmosphere. You go in, you get your sandwich, and if you want to eat in… there may or may not be a seat for you. Simple, in my opinion.

It was between Salty’s and another place for lunch and we picked Salty’s because the pictures of their sandwiches + the overall menu just looked better and we were not disappointed!! I tried the Ricky Ricardo without jalapeños and subbed a different bread. One of the best Cubans I’ve had! Extremely saucy so definitely a little messy, but sooo tasty. The sandwiches are huge and mine cost only $15 which I find very fair considering it’s in SF! The guy at the register was nice as well. If you plan to eat there it is a little small of a seating area; if you’re local you’d probably enjoy it more as takeout.
