I have frequented Sam’s Chowder House in years past and loved it. If you like great cioppino, and excellent service at an affordable price, do not go to Sam’s !!!! The cioppino was a bouillabaisse and not a cioppino at all. We waited an eternity for the waitress to even order our drinks. We went here while we were in the area for a family members surgery. We had had a really rough day and the manager asked about it and then proceeded to provide us with the most amazing service and kindness imaginable. I’ve never experienced such amazing kindness at a restaurant. I would 10/10 recommend. Aside from the amazing service, the food was amazing!
Ordered take out and tried a variety of dishes. Everything was ok, except the price of the gnocchi was outrageous! barely a cup full and was charged almost $18. Complete rip off and soured the whole experience.
