Saru is among the best sushi restaurants in Northern California and beyond. I have eaten at some of the finest sushi restaurants in California and Saru is at the top. They have an excellent selection of fish and their presentation is simple and authentic. The service is excellent. I have never had an experience that was below expectation.
It’s an intimate space but amazing service and food! We waited a bit but they brought out complimentary tea for us while we waited for our table. Tips are included in the price and they even reinforce additional tips aren’t necessary when you pay which I thought was refreshing.
Oh my God! That describes Sarah Sushi bar. Since I’ve visited Japan, I found it very difficult to find good or great sushi. This place has both. And their service, they provide detailed information with a friendly demeanor. The food was unique and the fish exceptionally fresh. The sake was divine. It’s a small place so you wait, but it’s worth every minute. I don’t live in San Francisco, but now I can tell you every time I’m there Sara sushi bar will be my first stop....
