I usually come here for their princess cake. It is so tasty and the inside is moist. I also tried a lot of their other cakes and baked goods. This is my fav bakery and I always go here if I need to get a birthday cake.

I enjoy their delicate flavors and attention to detail. Ordering a cake was a breeze and every part of it was delicious! Yes, including the macarons and white chocolate signage. They make the best princess cake in the area. I had their mango cake as well, but I prefer it contrasted with the saltiness of a touch of cream cheese. Lovely local spot!

You like mousse cake? If you are in the Bay Area, Schubert's is it. Don't google for more. Don't look on Yelp. Schubert's mousse cake may cost a few dollar signs more, but there are no alternatives. You have been advised. Waste your own money if you want to. Or save them to spend on the best mousse cake money can by in the Bay Area!

This review is for the princess cake only: it’s absolutely pathetic. They use fake cool whip or equivalent and not whipped cream, the sponge cake is tasteless, kirsch nowhere to be found, and the marzipan is not made in house. Not sure what the positive reviews are about but clearly people are either lying or ignorant. Go to Tartine instead and have a real treat.
I ordered the strawberry shortcake for my daughters 2nd birthday and was delighted to pick up this beautifully decorated cake. She was so excited when we presented her cake and she loved the bee, lady bug, and butterfly decorations, which were an extra special touch added by the bakery! The cake was delicious with a soft cake, fresh strawberries, and a subtly sweet whipped cream. Thank you Schubert's for helping make my daughters birthday special!
Delicious 😍🥰😘
Quick service, great selection of cake slices, biscuits, pies and whole cakes at this time testing bakery. Come here for old-world European cakes including the fuerst pueckler, Swedish princess cake.
We got the Mocha Torte, which was so light and fluffy. Cream filling was not too sweet - perfectly balanced with the coffee flavor.
One of the most accessible and probably best bakeries in the city. Please bring back the raspberry rings.

Great service and delicious cakes! I order at least once a year.
Whenever I bring shuberts to a party everyone wants to know where I got it from.
Adorable Fluffy Cakes and Classic Treats 🍰🥭
Schubert’s Bakery is the perfect place to go for classic and cute cakes. They never miss; their cakes are light and flavorful with the perfect frosting-to-cake ratio. I always get their mango mousse cake which is wonderfully fruity and airy without being too sweet. The chocolate cakes are rich and their princess cakes are neat and jammy. This place is a tried and true spot with reliable sweet treats. They always top them with adorable white chocolate candies and dainty icing. I would recommend this place to any cake lover; the perfect spot for an afternoon treat or a pick-up for a special occasion!

We stopped by Schubert's on a whim and tried their pretzel croissant and custard croissant. The croissants were ok. However, we saw a lot of locals coming in to pick up cakes so I wonder if they are more known for their cakes. They had the cakes in a variety of different sizes. I would have tried a Princess Cake but they didn't have that as an individual serving.
