You can veganize almost any dish. Many options. Good food.
Bland, muddled flavors. Mushy. One note. $17 burritos. The final insult was the lack of spice. I ordered the burrito "Hella Spicy" as it says on the menu and it was zero spice. Non-existent spice. Not recommended.

The Tosilog Burrito is delicious, one of my favorites in the city. That being said, I don't appreciate deceptive pricing, they tack on a hidden SF mandate charge so -2 stars.

The food is very decent but it is very expensive for a fast food restaurant and the service is very very average.

We were happy to find a Filipino food in San Francisco’s Pier 39. It may not be as authentic as the OG sisig but it was flavorful and portions were big.

A Taste of Señor Sisig
I was looking for a quick and small bite to eat for a late lunch/early dinner, and I stopped by Señor Sisig for the first time. A quick look at their menu and their tacos grabbed my attention. I opted for their tofu and chicken tacos. They come on a 6" corn tortilla with onions, lettuce, fresh jalapenos, and cilantro cream sauce.
The store is very small and towards the northern end of the Ferry Building. It has a few stools in the wide hallway in front of the store and a few tables outside facing the Bay. The staff was young and quick to take my order and turn it around, so I did not have to wait more than a few minutes. The tacos were spicy and tasty. I enjoyed them both and will likely return to try their burritos and other items.
Vegetarian options: Limited vegetarian options are available.

I stopped here for a quick bite to eat on December 10, 2024 and ordered the vegan version of the Crunch-a-dilla with tofu. It was rather expensive at $17.50 and really wasn't anything very appealing. It lacked a complexity of flavors and tasted like something you could get at a Mexican fast food chain. Their presence at the ferry building gives them a captive audience so there was a line to order. I will say that the counter staff were very friendly and patient. They explained to me what I could have that would be vegan and waited patiently for me to decide.
SMALL BURRITO FOR 17 DOLLARS. CRAZY
Señor Sisig offers generous portions and great food. I had the chicken with fries, and it was delicious. The flavors were well-balanced, and the portion size was quite satisfying.
Be prepared for a long queue during lunch hours, but the wait is worth it. The staff are friendly and manage the crowd well, making the experience pleasant overall. If you’re around the SF Ferry Building, this spot is a solid choice for a quick and filling meal.
not cheap.

2nd time!! What the heck is going on, Senior Sisig?!? Taste aren’t what it’s used to be!! Even how the burrito is wrapped (loose and messy).. what a downgrade!! I’ll wait till you upgrade to just a taco truck!

Amazing options, very clear menu, had the signature burrito with their "chicken" and was one of the best I've had. Garlic rice is delicious.
