We enjoyed our nostalgic breakfast experience here (open since 1939)! Great mocha coffee with whipped cream, great fruit bowl, great fresh eggs, great hash browns (a little mushy in the middle), great bacon and great sausage. One of the best breakfasts we've had. Also, great service and great music of the era too!

The restaurant is gorgeous with a lot of unique details. The service was also good. I found that everything fried had an odd taste to it, like it was fried in old oil but I could be wrong and its some sortof flavoring they add to everything. The food was so so.

The atmosphere alone in this restaurant should draw you in - it is classic old time San Francisco inside with very cool period features. It was very clean and the staff were fast and friendly. The food came out quickly; I had a combo plate breakfast with pancakes, eggs, sausage and bacon. EVERYTHING from the coffee to the pancakes was delicious! The scrambled eggs were creamy, fresh and delicious and the sausage was not fatty, large, and flavourful. The pancakes were incredible...
