My friend & I loved the food at Serafina - it was just our waiter that made the experience less positive. We had a reservation, ordered multiple dishes & wine. But he chose to rush us through courses; asking about the next course before we even took a bite of our appetizer & even taking my bread plate mid morsel-to-oil-dab. My friend finally made it obvious by saying, "don't worry we'll get out of your hair soon" & only then did he snap back...
Great Italian bistro, great food, great service, wonderful spot overlooking the city. Parking can be a bit tricky on the weekends, recommend arriving by taxi or uber or walking if you don't mind the hills.
Caesar Salad is great! Has a nice creamy, lemon dressing with parmesan and a bit of a "bite" (tartness). Plus anchovies. Most Excellent Caesar. Gnocci were a great pasta dish to share. Perfectly cooked, great sauce. Comfort food at its best. Lamb was to die for (well, at least for the lamb). Medium/rare was too perfection.
