Hidden gem! — Came here for dinner at 5:30pm on a Saturday, no wait! People started rolling in around 6:30pm. Even though they were busy with takeout orders, I never felt rushed. I came here with my elderly aunt and the waitress kindly + patiently answered my many questions (to make sure the food was not spicy for my aunt).

Ordered: Kimchi stew & tofu stew, each entree came with a bowl of rice. Kimchi stew was flavorful and I personally like adding a dash of vinegar (which the restaurant happily provided) to make it more sour. Asked for three refills of side dishes because we were a big fan of the potato salad and kimchi!

Even though it was a small space, it felt cozy instead of cramp. I imagine it could get loud since I was able to overhear some of the conversations across the room. Overall could eat here again.

They’re now open for dine-in service on Fridays and Saturdays! This modest, family-run gem sits right beside the Taraval line. The mother and father lovingly prepare each dish in the kitchen, while their daughter handles the front of the house, ensuring that customers feel right at home. I’ve tried Han Il Kwan, Manna, Toyose, and The Crew, but this spot still wins me over every time. Although they’re celebrated for their fried chicken, I can’t get enough of their pollack roe soup, soon tofu soup, and kal-bi!

Love the fried chicken! Not so much the seafood tofu stew (chopped seafood pieces but good flavor) . The banchan is ok. Kimchi is great but fish cake is terrible. Efficient service.

Looking for Korean places in the neighborhood and was delighted to find this gem! They are super accommodating and made several dishes vegan for us. I really appreciated them asking about food allergies as well. Rice cakes, soft tofu soup, and bibimbap were all stellar. Highly recommend!!

Vegetarian options: Chefs were very accommodating and happy to modify dishes and make them without fish/meat/eggs

They were only serving takeout when we visited. The staff was very nice and welcoming. Only about a 20 minute wait, and the food was awesome. Great flavor and big portions. Very generous with everything, even the sides. I really appreciated the decent portion of veggie sides, and they gave an extra quart of kimchi. My boyfriend had a huge appetite, but could not even finish the chicken. 2 meals for $30, but definitely feeds up to 4.

Parking: There were approximately 20 spots along the street, but were all taken by people shopping elsewhere. We had to park in the residential area close by. Not a long walk at all though.

Ordered lunch takeout today. It was easy to call in my order. Unfortunately Google Maps had an outdated photo of the lunch menu which I replaced. Some of the items are no longer available and prices increased somewhat. The woman on the phone was very friendly and told me approximately how long it would take. I showed up a few minutes early and my food was just finishing. I got the kalbi lunch special and it was delicious, nice char flavor and all the side dishes were very fresh and tasty (crisp cucumbers and kim chi). Highly recommend this trusty Korean mainstay in the Sunset. Cash preferred- be prepared!

We get takeout here regularly -- they never mess up our order, the food is good and the prices are relatively reasonable. They have a good sized menu, too!
