Great bartenders and cool KJ. But guys, what is up with the smashed mic that hasn't been replaced in ages? You can walk into Guitar Center on Van Ness and buy a replacement for $70 - which is what it costs to replace a Shure mic. The fact they don't replace critical cheap equipment tells me they are really checked out.
Always a good time for karaoke if you’re open to singing in front of a crowd. Also it’s great for watching games since they have several tv screens. Sometimes they close a little early if it’s not that busy.
This isn't a regular bar. It's a place you can go to have a ton of fun while being greeted by an outstandingly friendly staff despite being hit at times by a huge demanding crowd. The bartenders, Eamon, Cooper, Hanna, Brenna, and Anna, are all extremely attentive, and when I visit, they treat me as a friend. The karaoke is amazing, unlike any other bars that do Karaoke Shows. Erik, the resident KJ is outstanding and patient, and there isn't a sung he doesn't have. He is super chill. Even the bar owner Tom is very down to earth and chill. He isn't uptight like most bar owners. This review doesn't allow me to give them any more than 5 stars, but in my book, they are 10 out of 10.
I only rated the food as a 3 because I didn't have any, but the staff and venue was fantastic. Huge selection of drinks on tap as well as mixed drinks and shots. Bathrooms were okay but they also had at least 80 or so customers the entire night so that's understandable. If you're looking for a place to let loose and sing some karaoke this is a great place to go.
Silver Clouds, I could never hate you. Yes it’s true, it’s easier/faster to get your song played if you slip the karaoke host a $20, and seek food elsewhere in the marina, but the local charm, and talent, is exactly what the marina needs more of. Never had a bad night that involved stopping by at Silver Cloud.
Boooo this place sucks. No ambience, signed up for karaoke and never got a chance to sing. They called last call at 1:30 and ended everything by 1:42…. So lame
Really fun night with the coworkers at karaoke
Really nice venue. JUST DON'T EAT THE HAMBURGERS!!!
Would give zero stars if I could. Came here for St. Patty’s Day, expecting a fun night of karaoke with friends. Instead, we were met with the rudest bartender I’ve ever encountered. The blonde one in the black hat took one look at us and decided—without even glancing at our IDs—that we were underage. We’re all 21 and 22, but she refused to check, refused to listen, and instead kicked us out like we were causing a scene (which, by the way, we weren’t).
The funniest part? We were here just TWO DAYS AGO, and someone actually did their job by checking our IDs properly. So unless the laws of time and biology changed overnight, her behavior was completely uncalled for.
This place has the warmth of a DMV and the hospitality of a brick wall. Even a fish wouldn’t have fun here—though I doubt they’d let it in without a birth certificate and two forms of ID. If you’re looking for a good time, go literally anywhere else.
Best time ever

Fun karaoke bar and SF staple with TVs to watch all the sporting events - plus they have trivia every Wednesday!

Awesome bar! This was our second time here (first time for karaoke) and it was so fun! The bartenders were both super friendly, the DJ was awesome, and even the security guard working the door helped make our night. We didn’t try the food so I can’t speak on that but we’ll definitely be coming back!

If singing in public is something people find as terrifying as public speaking, then this place breaks the ice. Well there are some great singers, there are others who are truly abysmal, which makes it all the more fun and helps to remove any apprehension harbored by those fearing public utterance.
