Good coffee & excellent breakfast cookies (Egyptian shortbread is out of this world as is the almond cake from Dianda’s). Fresh bagels from House of Bagels but I didn't see any plant based cream cheese. The chai is A++ as is the service. Love their dining room; a nice throwback, friendly neighborhood cafe.
Simple Pleasures exemplifies the idea of a neighborhood coffee shop: a community gathering spot with relaxed vibes, where you can talk with friends, curl up with a book, work on your laptop or just people-watch. The bathroom is nicely decorated with stickers, the cafe has a good variety of drinks and food, and the operating hours are welcoming. A must-visit if you enjoy that type of scene and are in the area!
Attached is a photo of me swimming from my home in Vallejo to Simple Pleasures Cafe. I love the coffee there, but the staff are what keeps me coming back! Broke the speed record for that swim!
