My visit to this place was one of my worst experiences, they offered a "Disney themed party" in advertising, it was a real disappointment I couldn't recommend any of their events, the advertising is misleading. The music was not good, the selection of songs were very old and you couldn't dance, a kareoke night with Disney songs would have been better title for the party since they made it seem it was a big party when in reality there was no people, along with the place being old and not in the best clean

I have come to find out that Slate Bar is CLOSING at the end of April 2024. The rent on the space is too high and the landlord refuses to lower it. Sad to see another beloved dance space go down. For those of you who love this place for music, dance....enjoy these last few weeks/days. Very disheartening...

The WORST Bar in SF Horrible service, ignorant, pretentious, and rude bartenders, filthy bathrooms, an overwhelming stench of piss and week old beer as soon as you walk in. Need I say more? Had a horrendous experience at the worst bar in SF. Do yourself a favor and stay tf away from this place. You're better off going to ANY other bar in the Mission area.

One of the best karaoke nights of my life. There was an $8 cover which threw me off, but it was totally worth it! The KJ plays mad sax and has smoke that shoots out and it is mad fun!

Phenomenal experience with the bar crew and DJ purple on Thursday's Dance Karaoke :) The bar crew was so helpful getting everything together to surprise our birthday boy like with getting the cake, plates and utensils together.. thank you!!!!! I can't recommend this bar enough. Ooo also everything at the bar is affordable and delicious... good times... good times.....

Slate Bar is always a blast! I love their karaoke and live music and pool table and seating. I like how they also have special guests and events like drag shows! The drinks are good and service is always with a smile.

Pool table is absolutely almost perfect. Love playing there on Thursday nights, when DJ purple is having his karaoke dance party.

They had this mezcal cocktail that was ?, nice diamond pool table with good cues!
