Listed as one of the top tiki bars in the country and i see why! Love the speak easy approach and three floors of authentic tiki vibe. The drink selections are authentic and boundless. I will need to make many more trips to make my way through the incredible menu. The only thing better than the drinks was the staff. The bartenders were extremely friendly , attentive, and skillful. Despite the constant line out the door, they managed to create quality tiki drinks consistently. The vibe was great and everyone seemed to be loving the place as much as i was. I scratched off the fundamental mai tai and zombie. Can’t wait to go back for the painkiller before going with more exotic concoctions.

Fun place with great drinks. Very knowledgeable bartenders who are helpful. The place needs some TLC as it looks a bit run down but has a nice not-quite a dive feel.

Super nice speakeasy, the cocktails were also very good, all of that for 16$ per cocktail which is what you would pay in a regular bar that does not have this nice pirate setting or fancy drinks. There might be quite a long line if you show up late though!

Always start with a Rum Barrel cocktail, because you can’t get it anywhere else in the world. But every cocktail on the menu is delicious and done to perfection!

Sooo. Since multiple messages left here at Smugglers Cove and no return call. Tried reaching out to the owner Martin Cate with no prevails. Iam going to share my story for the world. A bartender slipped something in my drink. My cell phone was stolen and my bank account was cleaned out. I have been here many times and I cant believe what happened happened! Police are involved!

I wish I could make it 6 stars or 7. Absolutely exquisite, the bartenders are super friendly and they take pride in making the drinks. The drinks are top notch, the painkiller # 4 strength might be one of the best cocktails I've ever had. I'll be back again

I visited here a couple weeks ago after a while. Customer service here wasn't great, both the security at the door and another person working inside were super rude.Space is limited, but easier to find seating if you come early. I've found that Pagan Idol has better seating. Drinks were good, similar to other tiki bars

Wow! I loved my drink - the Jamaican milk punch! It definitely was milky and so dangerously good! I wanted more, but there were so many drinks to try! Alas, next time then. The multi-level design was very cool to explore. The outside looks very very non-descript; we almost passed it by twice. So that is a tip: check the address and look for the club-like entrance with the bouncer. A night out in The City? Yes, please! Good to see how busy it is and support the businesses in SF - yes, SF!! There is a heartbeat, a thread of life, a spark of hope, and of revitalization. Here is where it lies, in the heart of the city, the people.
