Stopped,husband went first while I getting bubble waffle at Lemonade. Like the guy in there who was working. He said they had nothing for him....hopped back in car before I could pay for parking. Really odd experience. Went in ordered vanilla with cookie dough, oreos or something like that. Asked about strawberry soft serve. Hard to find snd I LOVE IT! But I digress....he said no not now but they have seasonal flavors...now banana. I said well I would get that. He asked did I wanted a tasted and then said there is no tasting. The choice of flavors are underwhelming. So, read the room...NO ONE was in there, pretty sure I look like an old lady tourist, and I already order intended to get product. Instead no taste, sale, no good review. :(

Hands down the best taiyaki, especially with the soft serve. The shop is clean with a great ambiance, and the staff is very friendly. There are so many topping options to choose from, and the flavors are excellent. We will definitely be back.

Somisomi at 4th Street is one of my favorite dessert spots in SF. The soft serve flavors are always delicious, the taiyaki comes out hot and crispy, and the service is fast and polite. Perfect place to stop by after shopping or hanging out.

I love this place and I wish it’s in more places along hwy 80 in California. I love their matcha ice cream and I love their fish shaped waffles, which you can watch them make it. The reason why I give them 4 stars is because they don’t have one chair in the place to sit or stand around while waiting for the order to be ready. It’s busy all the time and you’ll need to be patient waiting in line. The line moves fairly quickly to the register to pay. However, the wait is much longer to receive your order.

Excuse me? Why is this place amazing? I wish I heard about this place sooner, nifty little ice cream taiyaki shop with so many different flavors to put inside the taiyaki. They make each taiyaki fresh right then and there after you order so you get a nice warm taiyaki with delicious ice cream (and even Nutella) inside!
