Great atmosphere.

Flavour profiles are interesting but they really don't work out. Tastes are too extreme. They are bitter or sour and not balanced on most foods.

Service definitely needs improvement.

Such a hidden gem! It’s beautifully decorated and all of the staff is super friendly. We ordered a few apps and alll were delicious. The wings were EXCELLENT! Seasoned well and the aioli paired well with them. The brussel sprouts were also seasoned well and tasted delicious and crispy. The samosas also came with a great curry sauce that we literally ate with a spoon! Highly recommend. Amazing food and photo opps everywhere.

Had an afternoon tea experience, good portions, not a ton of variety of tea though. We also ordered the fried chicken and matcha pancakes, which were delicious. The display and atmosphere is great! Very cute and instagramable interior.
I would come back for brunch!

Finally had a chance to go there for our anniversary lunch, hadn’t wanted to go because I had the impression it was pricey and not worth it. But given it was our anniversary lunch, I figured I’d want to go somewhere fancier so went for it. The place was disappointingly less beautiful than the pictures or my expectations. The space was the standard long rectangular restaurant style without any special architectural distinction. Being there in person I could tell the flowers were all fake so that took it down a notch, not that I expected them to be real fresh flowers but the fakeness was striking and hard to get over. While I don’t do instagram and didn’t need some glamor shot to post, I still wanted nice photos for memories sake and definitely was underwhelmed with the decor. The one unexpected positive thing is that the food was actually very tasty, perhaps because I was expecting it to be over priced and not good as often is the case when one goes for decor and atmosphere. However, both myself and hubby’s dishes (beef stew and crab omelet) were delicious and served quickly without much wait which I really appreciated. Service was prompt though not memorable and felt distant and cordial rather than warm and fuzzy, but that’s ok, I wasn’t there to make friends.

This was a phenomenal brunch. It felt like what would happen if a person from Hong Kong tried to make an American brunch place while on drugs, but then later insisted that all of the food actually be great. I expect to come back here.

My friend and I paid $20 for the tea thing, we thought it meant just a more decorative table, not that food that is $55 per person. In the website they do not explain well what that is, so we got confused and deeply regreted it. And for $55 was plenty of small snacks, and fruits, we left there hungry and went somewhere else. The ladies that work there was always in a hurry, we didnt even finished eating and they wanted to clean up, very uncomfortable. The neighborhood is also very dangerous. So yeah, I do not recommend this one. Melon park one is great though.
