Very decadent crepes with Asian flavours.
not very good
cold, unfriendly, and pushy customer service. The cashier and people cooking treated us like a number.
As a European, I cannot approve the quality of the crepe itself. It tasted like it was rushed by being cooked on high heat and had a cracker/dry texture.
Never again.

The cashier who handles many things was cutting fruit with her bare hands. I didn’t watch the process but I am hoping she washed her hands.
In addition, I want to make everyone aware of the 4% “SF surcharge” charge they add to their bill. They already add on for toppings you want to add so this meal became more expensive. I also didn’t notice this until I looked at my receipt. According to numerous online articles, there’s something named SB 478 that bans restaurants to add on to their displayed fee and could even be illegal as of 7/2024. I’m unsure of this but if so, be aware of this and ask them to take it off. It’s not much but from the articles I read online, it is not good business practice.

Weekday visit(~12 pm):
Inside the Japan town mall, decently priced, quick service, great grab and go option.
- Ordered Banana Nutella Crepe, the crepe was good, but little flaky in the end. In my case, little Nutella and a lot of banana, though it’s healthy, I’d prefer more Nutella.
- Place was not busy, ordered and served in <5min. Just one table for dine in inside, but plenty of seating outside, common for surrounding food places.

I forgot to take a picture of the food, but it was loaded with strawberries and had a decent amount of Nutella. I would’ve got ice cream in my crepe too if I wasn’t already full. It was delicious though just with Nutella and strawberries.

Price on menu differs from price charged. Refused to fix either when this was pointed out.

Good crepe, but definitely on the heavy side.
We ordered a #8...strawberry and vanilla crepe $9.25
-ice cream +$1.50
-whipped cream +$1
Total was $12.76 for a crepe. Definitely on the pricier side.
Would have been better for staff to be more transparent that these were add ons instead of us assuming it was included...but learned for future...never assume anything!
Some seating inside.
Street parking around Japantown.

The first time I went here I ordered Nutella with mandarin orange and they gave pretty good amount of the mandarin orange but the more I came back they added less and less mandarin orange to the point where they only gave less than 10 pieces of mandarin orange. I recommend going to “ Genki Crepes & Mini Mart” because they provide more fruits and I went there way more too!

Avoid this place on weekends and most weeknights- when they get too busy the service is absolutely atrocious! Very rude and belligerent employee (female, black hair) was comically unaccommodating; they won’t make even the most reasonable substitutions (i.e. one flavor of ice cream for another).
They carry Fiorella gelato and their crepe batter is actually very good; overall they're the best crepes in SF if we're strictly talking counter service spots. The Nutella & Nociolla crepe is one of the best (pistachio and vanilla are also highly recommended). To enjoy their crepes without the attitude & rudeness try coming around 2-4pm on weekdays.

Located in Japantown, Sophie’s crepes is a charming, eclectic eatery offering a variety of sweet and savory treats. These includes crepes and gelato. While they don’t offer a banana and strawberry crepe, you can order the banana crepe and add strawberry (highly recommend this over ordering the strawberry crepe and adding banana). It was so delicious and I would give it six stars if I could. Had a jolly good time!

The person at the checkout was impolite. He didn't say a single word when we ordered - no greeting or acknowledgment. His negative attitude made us feel like our order was a bother to him. Crepe was mediocre, crispy but very dry for some reason.
