Spruce is a must have experience in San Francisco. A beautiful space with world class service, an amazing wine list, and unforgettable food. It is my go to place for a business lunch or a family outing. Nothing beats it! John S.
Lovely meal, beautiful in the plate and palate and attentive, but not intrusive, staff. The star left off for ambience is for the cold breeze that hit us every time the door opened and the (ahem) nonfunctioning toilet (which staff was alerted to and prepared to address).
Thoroughly satisfying on all fronts. Excellent, informed service without the condescension one gets in high-end dining rooms. Interesting food approaches but not eccentric. Also offers a range of terrific wine by the glass options from all over the world. Will definitely go back.
