Home-style Japanese cooking, top notch at a generous price. Huge, diverse menu with decent sushi. Personable staff, always feel welcome and somehow lucky to be here.

Cosy, authentic place with great prices and quality. Waitress greeted us with miso soup and was very kind and understanding. Service was excellent and taste of the food outstanding. Absolutely recommend, I wish I stayed longer in SF to visit it again.

What special little restaurant. I received an incredibly warm welcome by a fun, kind, gregarious man who I’m assuming is an owner. I was given a free roll, a free water, and a free beer with my order which is the most generous restaurant experience I’ve ever had. And the rolls matched the service and were delicious.

We had THE best time at Sqwers!! Lee is the utmost generous, always giving us a little extra special something. The vibes are so fun and authentic. It will def be our regular neighborhood spot. Sushi is great and creative! Thank you Lee!!!

The atmosphere reminds me of Japan. The food tastes better than a lot of food I've had in Japan. Lunch or dinner served with tea, miso soup & rice. I love the Katsu chicken comes with a salad, too. All for $12.00!!! Might as well order the special or sushi with these prices. Making me hungry as I type! The service is attentive without being intrusive. The TV display and music were perfect. Clean tasting, fresh food, and clean restaurant. Not Zen feeling, but a genuine casual dining Japanese experience.

Parking: Street meters until 6pm, always parking in front.
