STK San Francisco

I'm genuinely disappointed with what STK has become. My first glass of rosé was served extremely warm, which really diminished the experience, especially since I was trying to celebrate. The second glass was better but I expected some acknowledgment or apology from management for the issue. Unfortunately, I ended up leaving right away and don't plan to return, as the high prices no longer match the quality.

So, the 10oz filet was actually really really good, cooked to perfection in my opinion. That place though was DIRTY, we were freezing the entire time, and the hostess got mad at me because they sat 6 of us at a 12 top and I was annoyed that they didn't remove the other 6 unused place settings. The furniture is busted, and the DJ (which was surprising in itself) just kinda annoyed us. I remembered when Rosa Mexicana was there and I really enjoyed going there with friends. I expected that any "upscale" steak restaurant in San Francisco would have a standard, but the vibe felt more like an Abblebees in Placerville. No offense to Placerville. If you are looking for a nice steak restaurant with family, I wouldn't recommend. If you want a nightclub with great steak, then this might be the place But admittedly, the food was actually really really good.

This was our first time there and we will definitely plan on coming back. Everything was awesome.

We got seated 30 minutes after our reservation time. We had to wait a long time before our steak was served. The server recommended shared tomahawk steak and assumed us it was enough for us but it wasn't. The deserts were not great either especially the apple pie which was served as a slob in their middle of the tray. Very poor service overall.

My experience on STK for my birthday. It was a total disaster first of all the service. It was very slow not really feel welcome or special as my birthday. The food came out cool I order porterhouse waste of money. The calamari with a lot breadcrumbs . I waiting more than 45 minutes for my main course to arrive o even more.. I think of this place is good only for happy hours. The location was nice. The atmosphere the decoration is good but the quality of food and the service is very disappointed.

We had dinner here for my daughter's birthday. Our waitress was nice. Our food took over 1.5 hours to come out and they forgot 2 items. I ordered a medium filet. Steak can out rare. Food was way too salty. We were compensated for a birthday cookie/ice cream. Very overpriced for what we paid. Will not be coming back.

Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was disappointing. The service was poor from the start — no one checked in to see how we were doing or if we wanted drinks or food. When we asked about the happy hour menu, the staff seemed dismissive and uninterested in helping. Later, when we wanted to order more, no one came by to assist. To make things worse, the server seemed upset because we didn't want wine. Overall, the lack of attention and attitude from the staff made the visit unpleasant. I expected a much better level of service.

Great for last minute res for a large party size. Service was slow and disoriented in terms of plate / drink timing. It was not busy, based on how many empty tables were there so the delay in order delivery was alarming. 3/4 of the bathrooms in the women's stalls were out of order.

We asked for sparkling water when we arrived. It took 30 minutes for them to tell us they didn't have any. Some of the food was very good. Some was not good at all. The prices are exorbitant in the bathroom was filthy. I complained to the staff and they said they knew, but they just hadn't gotten to it. A filthy bathroom send a very bad message. We will not be eating there again ever.

I forgot who my server was but she mentioned only working there for 2 months, she was terrific and really sweet! Made our first visit to the restaurant a really great and memorable experience. Shoutout to the really nice server!

Had an awesome 1st experience. From the easy reservation, check-in, service and food, we were v satisfied. Aaron (our server) was attentive and gave good recommendations on the food. Will def be back.

The food was amazing!! Our server was also very nice and bubbly, and she gave us the best recommendations. Loved everything about the visit. ❣️

It's a Steakhouse and I would assume they could at least cook the steaks correctly. I ordered my filet Medium, and when I cut into the center it was still Moo'ing.

Terrible management and experience. Arrived on time for our reservation, but seated 90 min late. Waited to speak with the seating manager after he spoke with 3 different parties only to met with denial, with him saying “I cannot talk right now, I'm too busy.” Food is over priced. Not the experience we had hoped for and know at other STK locations.

STK is a great addition to the SF steakhouse scene. Excellent location near the waterfront and a beautiful interior. Filets were excellent and prepared as ordered, medium rare. The wine sauce and the Chimichurri sauce were both excellent additions. Off carbs currently but the bread looked amazing.....tempted but resisted. Wine was nice and they had a good range from high to low on prices for wine. Service was very good.
