STK San Francisco

It's a Steakhouse and I would assume they could at least cook the steaks correctly. I ordered my filet Medium, and when I cut into the center it was still Moo'ing.

Terrible management and experience. Arrived on time for our reservation, but seated 90 min late. Waited to speak with the seating manager after he spoke with 3 different parties only to met with denial, with him saying “I cannot talk right now, I'm too busy.” Food is over priced. Not the experience we had hoped for and know at other STK locations.

STK is a great addition to the SF steakhouse scene. Excellent location near the waterfront and a beautiful interior. Filets were excellent and prepared as ordered, medium rare. The wine sauce and the Chimichurri sauce were both excellent additions. Off carbs currently but the bread looked amazing.....tempted but resisted. Wine was nice and they had a good range from high to low on prices for wine. Service was very good.

The wait staff was excellent once you arrive at your table. The front of house staff seems to be distracted with internal issues resulting in long wait times to be seated.

Unfortunately, the party next to us was extremely loud, not a fault of yours but with so much open seating they could have been placed somewhere else Food was sub par. Asparagus was over cooked and dry. My Ribeye steak came out luke warm, lacking flavor, and I had to chew through the fat instead of melting in my mouth like a 100 dollar steak should be. Being one of the more expensive steak houses, I don't think it was worth the money at all. Unless you're going there with a group just for the environment

Server was excellent, food was good as were the cocktails. I understand cost of goods on the steaks, tuna tartare, proteins, but $30+ on salads is too high!

Shawn & Junes are the best ever servers. We had a blast celebrating my birthday. You guys are the sweetest.

This was not my first time eating at STK. I will say the energy only gets more and more energetic every time I go. SO MUCH FUN! Besides the great customer service, ambiance and delicious food, oh and FANTASTIC DJ- the highlight of my night was when all staff came together and danced with trays of free shots to pass out. It was giving vip at a club vibe! Which I enjoyed so much. 10/10 I ordered lobster and ribeye with a side of lobster Mac and cheese and mash potatoes. Delicious! PHENOMENAL STAFF!

The ambiance and service were great; unfortunately, the food was not what I anticipated. The waitress described the calamari as the best in the Bay Area; I have had better calamari at many other places. The lobster pasta was not well-seasoned. We also had the shrimp scampi, which was not bad. The cookie dessert and donuts were delicious. Overall, the ambiance was great, but the food was not great. The price of this restaurant is on the higher end, and so should the food. The taste was underwhelming.

We had a great experience at STK. Everything was super pro, from check in to seating, the service throughout, and the food. The menu was great, and everything we ordered was spot on and delicious. Our server was fantastic, clearly a pro at what he does. We did a little birthday celebration and the whole staff was very helpful. We can't wait to go back!

Food was great. Perfect for a night out with my daughter. Service was prompt and waitress was attentive and hospitable. Love this place!

Overall it was underwhelming for the price. The food was ok, but overpriced. The wait staff was congenial but they kept interrupting our conversation and hurrying us along, even taking our utensils and some last bits of food away without asking if we were done. The restaurant wasn't busy- lots of empty tables so there was no need to rush us. It was an experience that didn't make me want to return. The decor was nice.

“Not your daddy's steakhouse” indeed. I've been to STK in Bellevue and received far difference service and cuisine. I felt like I was in a cheap night club with tacky art. I asked for butter, which is an option with the steak many kinds actually, and receive a melted side of plain butter. It was the served who brought it out that realized the truffle butter should have been melted and cooked on the steak. So he grabbed butter and flamed it in front of me onto the steak, thankfully or I suppose I would've gotten a plain steak... the fries weren't much to speak of either. I don't even want to speak on the state of the restrooms. There was actually only one USABLE the others were clogged with paper towels. I know it's the location because Bellevue had delightful food, proper service and clean facilities.

Loved the ambience! Service was awesome! Definitely not kids friendly but for adults it's just great! I would absolutely go back!

Kya’s attention to detail was spectacular. The food was perfectly cooked and it made my birthday very enjoyable.
