This is a great place to go to on Valentine’s Day. They’re having a jazz concert. Such a romantic date spot.
a quiet and pleasant place
Great jazz, wonderful hikes, fun low key boating. SF vibe.
Came the other day with a small group to be on the water for a bit as we killed time. You can rent both row boats and paddle boats for an hourly rate. The staff are helpful at the boathouse both with rentals, snacks and boarding your boat. The water itself was nice to paddle around as there were numerous ducks, birds, turtles and even some raccoons that we saw on our trip around. I'd recommend going on a ride if you're in the area, it was nice and peaceful.
San francisco hidden gem. Great place to see nature - turtles, banana trees, peddleboats!
Place to rent boats to climb around the lake. There are fast food and soft drinks available. Buy food here or bring food and go to the other side of the lake with a beautiful waterfall and sit down to eat.

Great relaxing location. The boat house serves simple fried snacks and pre-made salads.
Good food, the portions were a bit small compared to the price, at least in our opinion. But basically everything was fine.
Very friendly and straightforward service. We spent a perfect amount of time on the water ?

We celebrated my sister’s birthday yesterday and I can’t say enough about the staff. We rented two boats and ate great lunches, including gluten free Cobb salad. The food is always great, the staff is always welcoming and kind. They go out of their way to make the experience special. The geese and the pie-eyed grebes add their own quiet value. Thanks for a great afternoon
My family celebrated my birthday yesterday on 2 paddle boats we rented at the Blue Heron Boathouse. Our party of 8 (plus a small dog) included my disabled husband and a 3-year-old. The staff was exceptional and treated each of us with such respect, patience and kindness. The foggy day was blissful as a result of their going way beyond ‘customer service.’ As Niners fans we were even able to overlook the Kansas City Chiefs hat worn by a staffer.? Thanks a million for a day I’ll never forget!

Serve delicious fresh made to order food like hot dogs, veggie dogs and fries. Massive portion of garlic fries!!
