I have noticed that some of the subways in San Francisco have some of the worst customer service. All I did was ask if I was able to toast my sandwich with veggies on it and he was rudely responded with only a "No" and didn't even look at me while saying it. Not even an explanation. I understand why some of them do not and the way some others respond with an apology and the explanation as to why they do it, in a respectful manner, and I usually continue to order. Maybe put up a note saying they do not toast veggies, it would completely solve the issue, but most likely they don't do that on purpose so that the customer doesn't know until it is too late.

Go here to have aggressive panhandlers hug you repeatedly against your will while blocking the door until they have your phone, as the employee watches, refusing to call 911, and then asks the pickpocket to buy a sandwich.

Tried to order pastrami on flat bread. No flat bread. Asked for pastrami on sourdough instead, the employee just walks off and starts wiping down counters and restocking fridges. Obviously they are not interested in selling sandwiches.

Besides the fact that it smells gross and it's extremely dirty outside of the front door and all the windows and some of the inside they have an 87 health score which is good. But the guy at the front desk who speaks English perfectly fine I asked him with several sandwiches had enough and he told me the cold cut Trio a chicken which is obviously does not. When asked what other sandwiches had he could not see. It is very rude condescending and out right disrespectful to?. The remains disappointing but this franchise has been like this for a very long time and there's a third and final try I gave it before I gave it a one out of five and I would've given it a half a one out of five that was possible. Not to mention the foul odor that is outside of the restaurant is swept inside by the breeze and it is not a very safe place to go to

Been coming here on and off for over 10 years now, and this past year ever since they fired the younger Filipino guy for closing early, and the white guy quitting. This older fat Nepalese guy is even worst he closes at 8:30 everyday for the past year, and hides in the back, but at least the younger guy opens the door for you, but this fat lazy imbecile doesn't do crap. This is why people don't want to work here from what all the previous workers told me, and you must be stupid to fire the younger guy who actually put in work. Maybe you should start hiring younger people who wants to work, rather than a lazy fat piece of s*** that you can manipulate for 13$ an hour.
I was just here at subway and soon as I walked in I was greeted by Marybeth who was so awesome. Her customer service was great, she did and gave me everything I asked for she even made my sandwich exactly how I asked for it to be made. If I'm ever in the area again I will definitely visit just so she can make my sandwich! Great service Marybeth!

I wish the worker would be more professional. He acted very spitefully, self-entitled, and disrespectful toward the customers who are just there to figure out pricing, eat, and support the business by virtue of it. Every dollar counts, and when you're rude, the dollars stop coming in because customers stop coming in. I understand there are a lot of customers living in poverty here who don't always act kindly or respectfully, but that is an opportunity to be a cut above, not to reciprocate and amplify rudeness. I won't be back to this location because that rudeness got extended to me too.
