The best baked goods! We love the zhongzhi and the hot dog buns
Note: CASH ONLY! Tasty treats for cheap prices! I tried the custard slice, egg tart, and pineapple bun- all good. Very quick service too. Not many savory vegetarian options. Heads up there’s no filling in the pineapple bun and it doesn’t really taste like pineapple. I saw another review which said this place had the best pineapple buns in the city- I don’t know about that but it was decently good, especially for the price. Also heads up that everything you get will be tossed in a little plastic bag so when I got the custard slice, it had broken a bit from being in the little bag with other items. I didn’t really mind this personally but thought others might. If you want a fork, you can ask for one.
They got my order wrong. Didn’t put candles in even though it was a birthday cake. And the cake tastes worse than before. Not coming back again.
Best pineapple bun in SF. Crunchy on the outside, moist on the inside. Better than Pineapple King. Super good prices as well.
Excellent strawberry cake. Go to place for cakes. Cakes are moist with whipped cream, not icing.
Light and not too sweet...all friends of mine are thump up on their fruit cake.
Lied to me that the drinks were from Hong Kong or Hong Kong style. Then when I showed her online it was from America and I’d like a refund since she lied and I didn’t open the drink she refused, with a smirk and waved at me. I’ve been to Guangzhou, Hong Kong, and Beijing where that’d be unacceptable but she thinks she could do this here. Also her foods are below average, people only go because it’s close to the bus station.

I was so excited to try the strawberry cake after reading all the great reviews. Sadly, my experience was terrible. When I opened the box, the cake was clearly moldy. It's unacceptable for a bakery to sell spoiled food. This raises serious concerns about their food safety practices. I'm incredibly disappointed and won't be returning.

This is my childhood Chinese bakery. Food is still good, cocktail buns and pineapple buns are great here. They run out of them by the afternoon. Price is right. Birthday cakes are these strawberry sponge cakes with white cream.
Ordered a birthday cake for forty people. It was excellent. Without knowing we bought our 91 year old friend his favorite cake. Thank you thank thank you! For sure we will be back!

Honestly I think this is the best bakery in SF. A real gem. Everything is so delicious and fresh. So worth it. Get a box of pastries for yourself. You will not regret it. Bring cash.

My grandparents had been buying this strawberry cake every birthday since the 90s. Rest their souls. it blew my mind to realize I took the bus past it everyday to get to and from school. So no matter what day it may be if I'm in the area I'm dropping in for some cake ? and a pork bun?????
