Sushi Hashiri provides an exceptional omakase experience with beautifully designed courses of the utmost quality. The knowledgeable and gracious host, Kenichiro, ensures a sensational experience, making the restaurant feel welcoming. This top-rated sushi restaurant offers an amazing experience with superb sushi, ambience, and service. Executive Chef Toshiaki Ono is an expert in his craft, with fresh and flavorful fish. The nigiri and rolls are exquisite, with highlights including the goldeneye snapper nigiri, Hokkaido uni, and the tuna belly & takuan roll. The flan is excellent, tasting strongly of heavy cream and pairing well with the slight bitterness of the caramel. Chef Ono learned this recipe after staging at a French restaurant in Tokyo. The ambiance is very nice, featuring projections on the ceiling that enhance the vibe. Counter seating is always better, allowing guests to enjoy the experience fully. The sashimi is very good and fresh, including the salmon carpaccio, which is refreshing with the wasabi ice cream. The bluefish stands out as incredibly good, on par with the best nodoguro. The shimohuri nigiri has a unique flavor, reminiscent of fish wagyu due to its marbling. Many guests find the quality of the wild fish to be impressive, and the whole staff is friendly, contributing to a great overall experience.
