Sushi Hon offers an exceptional dining experience with expertly crafted sushi and attentive service. Chef Yong's dedication to the sushi rice results in a perfectly defined and bright, acidic base for the nigiri. The menu features standout dishes, such as the silky mozuku starter, the decadent uni and chopped toro rice bowl, and the visually impressive and textured hotate (scallop) nigiri. The 18-course dinner omakase, starting at $135, showcases the chef's culinary prowess, with highlights like the seared 14-day aged toro and A5 wagyu nigiris. Customers praise the intimate, refined, and elevated dining experience, the excellent beverage pairings, and the friendly service that makes the night feel extra special. Sushi Hon also offers a smaller lunch omakase for $65 and delivers. The omakase experience is absolutely delicious with impeccable service. This quiet and classy restaurant elevated sushi pre fix to a new level; it was beyond exceptional. The 19-course meal was a journey in itself, with care in making each one, explanations, and out of this world taste. The staff was extremely accommodating. This was by far the best sushi ever had. Customers also highlight how Chef Yong and his wife Hannah make guests feel like family from the moment they walk in. The passion Chef Yong has for each fish, sourcing from specific regions and sharing the story behind every bite, creates a deeply personal experience. Sitting at the omakase bar allows for a firsthand view of the meticulous preparation and explanation of each course, enhancing appreciation for the quality and flavors. The restaurant's size strikes a perfect balance, offering personalized service without feeling cramped, with a relaxing ambiance and just the right music volume for conversation. Every piece of sushi is impressively presented, flavorful, and melts in the mouth, with ingredients that are super fresh. The staff's hospitality, professionalism, and attention to detail, from neatly folded napkins to hanging jackets, make guests feel special and well cared for. Overall, Sushi Hon is a true gem, delivering a memorable experience through its high-quality food, friendly atmosphere, and expert service.
