We came here for affordable AYCE sushi and that is exactly what we got. Rolls took almost 25 mins to come out. We started with a dragon roll and U2 roll (unagi) which were both disappointing because the rolls, most notably the rice, were cold. It’s extremely off-putting to wait for such a long time and still get poorly prepared food.
We then ordered the lion king, double hamachi, and cherry blossom roll. These rolls came out quickly. The lion king and cherry blossom rolls were both solid, although the rice temperature in the cherry blossom was still a bit cold. The hamachi was not great quality, as the fish was more red than the classic light pink color. Again the rice was cold.
Finally, we decided to finish with spider roll, which took what felt like another 20+ mins to come out.
Overall, I think the restaurant needs to improve food quality. I felt embarrassed for them when I tried the food. The rolls don’t look visually presentable either so I didn’t bother taking any pictures, but I wish I did to reference my complaints. Food needs to come out quicker and timing needs to be more consistent.
Service was fine, I could tell the waiters felt bad that the food was taking so long to come out.
