The German chocolate cupcake was to die for, but unfortunately the icing on the chocolate cupcake was too sweet and not chocolatey enough :(
My daughter had Susie's Red Velvet Cake for her birthday. It was shaped like a heart and cost about $100? The package and design was small and neat. However, the majority of the cake tastes like Pigs Lard ( unhealthy oils from pigs)! Even the Butter Cream Frosting was thrown off! There was no cake, only confections that may have been made of Lard! Did Susie run out of Flour? It appears so! I wish we could get a refund because it tasted bad , like an oil unsweetened candy. The only thing Sweet was the Butter Cream Frosting!
With that, I rate SusieCakes, Red Velvet Cake a -1 star and request to get a refund!... MMH-S

Their carrot cake is one of the best carrot cakes I've ever had! It all comes together so deliciously.
I also appreciate the front staff's service. They're always kind and efficient.

We stumbled across this gorgeous cake shop 2 years ago visiting from Melbourne , Australia - we still remembered how great it was and went out of our way to find it again. We returned again to San Francisco yesterday and went back to enjoy their cupcakes again. Thank you - we had to return again later in the day for a take away. The vanilla cupcakes are so delicious.
My friends ordered me a cake from here and the frosting came cracked. The red velvet tasted (and looked) so artificial and also was also very dry. I ended up throwing it away. Very disappointing. Noe Valley Bakery is a million times better.
Delicious ❤️

This place gets busy. Hope you have time to wait. No prices on anything. Maybe it's market price? Didn't have time to get any prices on cupcakes or single slices. Free slice on your bday if you sign up.
The shop is cute and uniform like they all are. It’s in a busy location that easy to find, the employees are very friendly and knowledgeable of the product and aren’t pushy or rush you. The sweet confections from here are so delicious, rich, and quality. It can be pricey but you’re paying for something that well worth it

The flourless chocolate cake is the best cupcake I’ve ever had in my entire life. I went back twice today and got 2 cupcakes.
Wow- I will dream of this forever. My birthday cake will be this flavor.

Best cupcakes and customer service ever!
They never let us down and are always eager to help with large orders. We usually order from them every month to celebrate office birthdays and anniversaries.
Unfortunately, our Uber driver couldn’t deliver the order and cancelled it. I was on the phone and even went downstairs to meet them, but they left before I arrived. The shop quickly stepped in to help us after that, and everything went smoothly the next day.
I felt bad about having to place a second order, but they were such good sports. As always, everyone in the office loved the cupcakes!

Overrated cupcakes.
Went to check it out due to the hype and cute little shop. Cupcakes' base are dry and toppings are sugary.
Tried 4 flavours: chocolate, strawberry lemonade (least worst because it had strawberry in its base so it wasn't so dry), coconut (taste like sugar) and red velvet (missing that 'bitter' topping and smooth base, it was just dry, felt like it was made 2 days before)
Not worth it - if prices were half of it, I'd say they'd compete with Safeway cupcakes and get 4 stars.

Maybe my expectations were too high, but this was truly disappointing. The cake tasted awful — dry, and nothing like what was promised. I’m honestly shocked. You can do much better than this. I just wasted $60.

I ordered a $100 cake for my sister’s bridal shower, and called in advance to check whether the writing would be in the pastel/ baby blue color. When I went in to pick up the cake, it was a dark teal. I politely asked the employees whether they could change it to the color I requested. They said no and seemed irritated (and were not apologetic).
I am disappointed to have spent so much on a cake that does not match the colors of the bridal shower and is honestly an ugly color. I wish the employees had been polite enough to offer a solution.
