Excellent place to dine. Good food, friendly service, nice atmosphere overlooking the pier loaded with sea lions. I took a group of 45 and they were very efficient.

We were visiting Pier 39 and decided to stop by Swiss Louis and had the best experience! There was a range of options available and the food and prices were fantastic! Amazing service - Eduardo was the best server! I would definitely recommend stopping by! One of the best restaurants we’ve had in San Francisco!

A wonderful place to dine while enjoying the breathtaking ocean view through the window. The scenery was absolutely stunning, creating a relaxing and memorable atmosphere. Great food, beautiful surroundings, and an experience I would highly recommend.

Horrible service and it took forever. For a 30 some dollar entree I got very small shrimp and just steamed vegetables that were supposed to be sauteed. My wife's pasta was OK, but not for the price. Great views but not worth the price. There are much better options nearby and in the city.

Horrible experience. Ordered a NON alcoholic drink and they brought a Bay breeze instead to my Husband who is 16 years sober. Server never carded either of us or even said what the drink was when he brought it out. The sever didnt care at all when we informed him hat he cannot drink alcohol. We got up and left immediately, spoke to the manager on the way out who also didnt seem to care. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Had an excellent dinner with attentive servers and a great atmosphere.

Favorite place always come here when I come to the bay never had a problem, this weekend i had a issue with the server kate I think is her name shes blond maybe new, I ask for a plain pasta just Tomato and pasta no cheese even showed her a picture because im unsure of how to pronounce the pasta. she goes and say she can only serve whats in the menu and says to get the premavera pasta I said no I dont want the bolongesa or the primavera just plain red sauce and pasta no meat NO CHEESE plenty of times nothing just red sauce she says she cant accommodate which I was confused because I always order the same thing she says no and that the picture is the vodka pasta which it was not I always show the same plain pasta because im unsure of how to pronounce the pasta name also have ordered the pasta before sometimes it comes with cheese which i dont typically like to return food because I think its rude an annoying so I always make sure to show them a picture of the plain pasta and specify no cheese, she gets annoyed makes faces which I didnt even noticed until my family pointed it out but takes my order which I let it go its my first mothers day im excited for the day, when she comes back she brings another pasta and very cheesy by the way which I go and let her and the gentlemna know next to her thats not what I ordered, I ordered plain pasta just red sauce and I specified no cheese she goes ahead and said I was lying how I said that’s exactly what I ordered i try to explain to the gentleman next to her I did not want that and how I tried explaining to her I showed her a picture and explained I did not want cheese just a plain which I was lactose intolerance she cuts both of us off makes a scene saying I need to specified what I order next time and tell her im lactose intolerant, I just wanted a plan pasta makes a huge deal which I’v never seen a waiter do in my life , I have witnesses proving I specified many times and showed a picture even my family was scared to order anything else or request anything else because of her attitude and faces. I appreciate the gentleman next to her trying be understanding,idk if she was not having a good day or it was too hard to write down a plane pasta just red sauce and pasta even the manager came in and ask if there was a problem after which I said no but then mentioned I just wanted a plain pasta he brings the pasta right away no problem it was literally something so simple and I come here often. I wanted to have a nice dinner with my mom and celebrate my first mothers day too which after that completely was ruined I dont appreciate being called a liar and treating me in that way especially infront of everybody when I was very specific in the beginning and was trying to get my order in again after getting the order wrong because I let it go I noticed she had an accent maybe it was mis communication but she blew it way out of proportion and seemed beyond annoyed please listen and dont call your customer liars and try to accommodate there orders .wasn’t big science it was literally a plain pasta It was a something so simple and mistakes happen but her attitude and the way she was being towards us especially after I told her I could not have the pasta was very horrible even made faces and completely ignored any time I spoke . I did not give any attitude disrespected her in any way not even close to how she was with me because I actually have manners and understanding sometimes customers can be overwhelming but dont take it out on other people I always waste about almost 200 dollars here I truly love it here and dont want to experience such behavior. You dont know what conditions or the reasons why they cant have certain meals I am also pregnant am very specific with what I eat currently which is why I always show them a picture of what im talking about so I dont waste no ones time or food please do better I understand it was mothers day its very hectic I worked in fast food so im very compassionate to fast food workers but the way her attitude and demeanor was was unacceptable .

The service was good. That view was excellent, however the food was not as good as we expected. I did love the clam chowder but we felt the fettuccine alfredo was a bit odd and apparently a few others had also indicated as such and the chef brought us a new plate (of his own making, which was greatly appreciated, and was much better). The chicken marsala was average, simple things like searing the chicken would have been a fantastic addition to bring closure to a plate that was good but not amazing. I would try it again in the future.

Great food and service, I went to eat here for my 20th birthday the other day and it was an enjoyable experience. The manager was really nice (if that was indeed the manager/not sure) guy in the front was very polite and welcoming. The waiter was great, food was great and obviously the restaurant has a great setup inside. The calamari and the pasta dish I had was tremendous… but good service always makes a difference and it was definitely great service here.
