This place was perfect all around. Spotless, great service, great food, great views. The views of the golden gate at night are wonderful. It's set up in a way that most tables have a great view.
The service was so great that it might have been the best service I've ever received at a restaurant. Quick, nice, knowledgeable of the menu.
Top tier food. The garlic bread is a must! Fresh pieces of garlic cloves on the top. Unbelievable.

Service was very poor. We had to find the busser to get our waiter to both put the order in and to get our check. We ordered the oysters which were subpar and the clam chowder which was honestly really good. Restersunt had great views but terrible service from our waiter.

Edit: The parking validation our server gave us was expired. Had to run back into the resteraunt to get a new one. Need better servers.

The food here was fairly pricey for what it was. I ordered the linguine with clams, and although it tasted good, the serving size was minimal. It didn't even fill half the bowl, and it looked like I received someone's leftovers. I have a pretty small appetite, yet this left me hungry.

The server was kind but not very focused, he may have been overworked. I didn't really get refills or anything, which is an important part of restaurants for me.

The atmosphere however is fairly nice (hard to mess up with this view,) despite the draft from the cracked windows.

While reading the menu posted outside, two different people asked if we had any questions. Decided to eat there, and were seated right away. Sat for 10 minutes, nobody came to the table - no water, no drink offer, no menu, nothing. Got up and left.

I love going to Swiss Louis Restaurant at Pier 39, mostly, because of customers service. I am tour manager, who has been going with my groups to Pier 39 for over 30 years. Whenever I recommend this restaurant to my international travelers, they always come back to me to thanks me for the recommendation. As for me, I am particular thank you to Walter Diaz. He is always great to me and my clients, meaning, he goes out of his way to make sure we have a great experience as we did today, October 26/2024.

People were nice. Loved we could bring our dog. Food was inedible, we got the crab, I think it had gone bad. We left without eating it. We had the clam chowder bowl and that was decent and helped us not starve. Service was fast and nice, but it was also super empty, probably for a reason.

Got the 2 lobster tails and they were undercooked. They came with only a side of cold and salty vegetables.

Order clam chowder waiter never brought it. We had to ask agin for it and when we got it, it was cold. For our main course our food was cold. So disappointed. I will never go back or recommend this place to anyone.

Overall  « Okay » restaurant BUT didn’t liked the surprise of 6.5% extra charge AND 20% gratuity. Doesn’t worth that, I suggest to choose an another place.

Food was completely disgusting, especially for the price. Left after the awful oysters and clams and my fiancé got ill from the oysters. Waiter was nice but I don’t recommend.

Food and service were amazing. We had a great view of SF and the golden gate. I don’t know what else anybody else would ask for. The staff was friendly and welcoming and I definitely recommend the crab enchiladas

The best part of this restaurant is the view of the Golden Gate Alcatraz and San Francisco
The dishes on the menu make you salivate despite the price but taste tasteless and bland. I do not recommend the crab at 50usd without taste
