This place was so delicious. The meat from their carne asada tacos was so tasty, none of that tex-mex spice bs. The tortilla soup is also such a warm and comforting meal for a cold day. Food comes out relatively quick. As someone from Mexico, I'll be coming here often.

Overpriced food and they seem to always mess up your order. We placed an order for about 6 people and they messed up every single order. My baja burrito turned out to be a really sad salad with no rice.. just slaw, fish, and avocado. Be sure to check your order when you pick up! Btw, the orange salsa is really hot!

Hella overpriced $5.85 a taco I bought two of each, short rib, Baja shrimp, and Veracruz fish. Short rib: sweeter and a bit dry. Lacks flavor n savoriness. Baja shrimp: bland, soggy, barely any flavor. Veracruz fish: very bland. Not dry though. The tacos were stuffed with way too much slaw, (why slaw anyway?) A lot of the fpod seemed to co taint natural and quality ingredients and it sounds and looks good on paper, but then you eat it and there's almost no complexity in flavor, let alone savory taste in it. Just overpriced and bland overall. Even the guac.. hardly any acid, salt taste, just almost taste like mayo tbh. Pretty bad. Sucks having a slaw taco that takes a huge bite to eat as well. The only things I liked were the plain chips. One star for that. Try again and redo your menu. Taste your food.. I recommend a cheaper taco trucker. Way more tastier lol. Heck even a stand would knock this place out.

Avoid if you have shellfish allergies, but overall, service is variable. We ordered tonight from this place from a local delivery service. Like many times before, we called to let them know to be careful as I have an allergy (doctor tested, not just a preference). We had to call as the delivery service would not let us send a message to the restaurant. They have tons of shrimp on the menu and I wanted them to be careful as I ordered a cheese quesadilla and was worried that they would cook it in an area where shrimp is cooked. I called TacoBar, as I have done many times before and expected to speak to someone who would take me seriously. This time, the guy told me to " place another order" and hung up on me. I called back several times and he either took the phone of the hook or did not answer. The upshot: our food came completely cooked in shellfish. I spit the food out and fortunately did not have to use my epipen. Don't use this place if you expect them to care about allergies.

I ordered 2 veggie tacos. The tortillas were stale and the tacos had very little filling and were poorly made. The cook wasn't wearing gloves so health and safety. He also looked like he didn't give an F. So overall the experience lifted mediocrity to new heights.

Best quesadilla I've ever had. Didn't skimp on ingredients and they were all freshly made. Not like what I've experienced from other places. This isn't meant to be a fancy restaurant but the quality of their food and service speaks otherwise.

The service is SPEEDY and soo friendly. The size of the fish is massive, with the second tortilla it's basically a two for one. I devour it every time I'm in the neighborhood.

Great Mexican restaurant on Fillmore near my church, so I come here for lunch often. There is no free chips here like the taquerias in the Mission, but there is a Toast loyalty program to accumulate points for discount on food. After paying today, I was surprised that it told me I have almost $5 off from the loyalty program so I used it. It'll definitely cause me to want to come here more often than going to the other Mexican restaurant on Divisadero. I also like that it's a casual paid at the counter restaurant and a lot of seating. There are 3 outdoor tables. I enjoy ordering the steak burrito and ordered it on multiple occasions, but I noticed they also have all of the other meats, fish, and shrimp options too. The steak burrito was $12.50 + SF 4% surcharge $0.53 + taxes. It came with 2 types of salsa but no mild salsa.

Simply great location for Mexican dishes. Some of the food were best and worth to try. The tacos has its own flavors. I like the Grilled shrimp quesadillas and Burrito. It was full of flavor and taste so fantastic with great portion size. The prices were reasonable however we wait a long time for our food to be served.

Great staff and great food. Since I have a gluten allergy, they let me change the breakfast burrito into a bowl with corn tortillas on the side. The guy was very friendly and made sure I had enough tortillas! It was delicious!
