Solid, well-rounded menu of gringo-centric tacos and Mexican fare. The Baja fish was surprisingly yummy, but the real standout was the insouciance of the service. Thank you, Fortune!

Food was good, we had the lunch special (2 tacos and a soup or salad, for $17, no drink). I had the chicken or egg soup, shrimp taco, and Coca-Cola braised carnitas. Wife had the Marina salad, fish taco, and shot-and-a-beer braised chicken. We're also had the chile con queso and churritos.

Quality was top notch. The soup was great, the salad even better the shrimp was small like Gulf shrimp, but that was great for a taco, big shrimp don't always work in a taco. The Coca-Cola carnitas was good but needed something, couldn't put my finger on it.

Fish was fresh and tasty, and the chicken was fine. For the queso, it was good, but more of the chile would have brought it to another level.

The churritos were over-cooked a bit and the oil probably wasn't hot enough, they came out a little oily/greasy. Caramel sauce slightly over done.

Will definitely come back and see if the small wiggles we had were one-offs. Chill atmosphere, good to great food, excellent service.

Service was outstanding, Nico wasn't at the table too much or too little, just right.

Solid tacos in a lively, energetic space with super friendly staff! I visited Tacolicious for a quick late lunch, and their tacos perfectly hit the spot after a long morning / afternoon running around doing errands. I was there during an off hour (~3:30 PM), but there were still a good number of people around, so I can only imagine how crowded it gets during the peak meal times. The complimentary chips and salsa were lovely and a great into to the main courses; I got two of their fish tacos, which were quite tasty. The fish was well-fried with a nice crispy exterior, and it has a good crunch and pop of freshness from the cabbage, creaminess from the crema. The taco was quite flavorful on its own, but they also serve every taco with a spread of three salsas and extra pickled onions. The salsas are all very tasty and range from not spicy at all to extremely spicy, and they each elevate the tacos in their own way. Can’t wait to come back!

Food was better than I remember it being 5 years ago. It felt a little pricey but actually I don't think it was upon further reflection. I just haven't eaten out much recently so the price seemed hoghef than I expected. Tacos and cocktails were incredible.

Just reviewing loteria night, chips and salsa, chicken tacos during happy hours, which were all very delish!

Waiters were nice and atmosphere was ok, but the tacos were far below expectations, did not taste good and were expensive as well

Tacolicious has great chips/salsa and fresh guac. However that’s about it. At $65 for 10 tacos, it’s got a small menu of tasteless, avant-garde tacos that are each incredibly disappointing in their own way. Save your money and go to any of the many other taquerias within a four block radius.

Too loud. But service was great very helpful and attentive. Drinks were good and fast. Food came out quickly and was tasty. The only issue is their chips are bad. Small broken pieces that look like the leftovers of a bag.

HIDDEN SURCHARGE ON BILL AND DISTINCT LACK OF COMMUNITY SPIRIT

I bought from their tent at one of the Valencia Night Markets. What was supposed to be $10 set of tacos + sales tax (8.75%) = $10.88 ended up being $11.57 ($10 + 15.7% tax). I told the cashier about the up charge and he dismissed it as tax but the numbers don't add up. I didn't get to see the breakdown of the bill either.

Also the server shoo-ed us away from the outdoor seating without a word even though we had bought from their tent booth and there were plenty of empty seats. I presume he wanted to save the seats to make money off of tips or perhaps it was a restaurant policy. Regardless of whose fault to blame, that behavior runs counter the spirit of the Valencia Night Markets - to bring the community together across social dividers such as wealth.

All in all, this experience with Tacolicious left a sour taste in my mouth. I will not be returning due to hidden surcharges and dismissive, bordering on hostile behavior.
