Just like this place every time I go. Good food, great outdoor seating for the mission, had an amazing non-alcoholic drink.
I was super excited to try Tacolicious since I was visiting and our friend had been hyping it up. The vibe was honestly really nice, moody lighting, good music, felt like a cute spot to catch up and hang out. But that was pretty much the highlight for me.
The prices felt... unrealistic. $15 for two tiny tacos?? In this economy? Absolutely not. I wouldn’t have minded paying that if the flavors were there, but the meat just didn’t hit. And trust me, I know my Mexican food. It was giving... underwhelming.
If you're just looking for a cute place to sit and snack, maybe it works. But if you’re hungry or looking for actual good tacos, I’d say skip it. There are way better spots just a few blocks away that are more local, more flavorful, and way more worth it.
The service was great, I’ll give them that; the staff was super friendly and attentive. I just wish the food matched the energy. Felt like it was definitely catered more toward white folks (which made up most of the people dining in), not people who actually grew up eating tacos.
Wouldn’t come back, but the area is nice to walk around after, so that was a plus!
Staff is more worried about violating someone’s rights than actually doing their job. Would definitely avoid this establishment.
I ordered tacos, and when they came, most of the taco meat was grisly. I could not chew it. But other than that everything else was wonderful
Always a good time! Food was good.
Initially sat outside despite inside reservations. I was shuffled around a lot and then forgotten. Our water was never refilled and we weren't checked in with once inside.
We love sitting outside by the mural. The food is consistently good. Always a treat to eat at tacolicous. Liked you can get guacamole with sliced vegetables, a good idea. And the tacos! So yum.
They seemed short staff and it took them about 15 mins to come to our table and take our order. Same with the cocktails we received as we were finishing our meal. If I had not been here before iw wouldn't come again but since I have been there before I would probably go again.
The food and drinks were great but the service was lackluster. We sat for over 15 min before anyone approached us. We had to ask who server was and then he finally came.
We really enjoyed the margaritas. The carnitas and burger tacos were delicious. Service was quick and friendly. Flan for dessert was a perfect end to the night. Great spot before a show and the Chapel.

My dinner was $146 and I left $30 tip but two days later found out on my credit card that they charged me $292, which is more than double and fraud.
Food was yummy, our server maya was great. It was just noise and a bit dark. But otherwise great for our large party.
You need to make a public apology for the rude behaviour and disgusting things said to the photographer who visited the corner of your business. Bad advertising on your part!
I come here every week for take out, but now never again. The last TWO times that I ordered my regular 4 carnitas tacos they were absolutely DRENCHED in oil. So much so that the entire to go container was soaked at the bottom and leaked onto the to go bag itself by the time I got home.
I had to literally take a paper towel to try and at least get some of the excess oil off so I could eat my lunch and not let it all go to waste.
When it happened the first time I thought it was just a one time mistake because it’s never happened before & I can’t even count the number of times I’ve ordered from here.
But now that it happened again I’m so done and disappointed. There’s so many other options in the Mission & will just go there instead.
Good food prices not so bad
