A local fave of mine. It's always pretty loud during peak dining times. Sitting outside is best if you don't want to strain your voice. Also, it's taken a while to get our drinks during the past couple of visits — again, at a peak time. But you can always count on the quality and yumminess of the food and alcoholic drinks.
Solid, well-rounded menu of gringo-centric tacos and Mexican fare. The Baja fish was surprisingly yummy, but the real standout was the insouciance of the service. Thank you, Fortune!
Food was good, we had the lunch special (2 tacos and a soup or salad, for $17, no drink). I had the chicken or egg soup, shrimp taco, and Coca-Cola braised carnitas. Wife had the Marina salad, fish taco, and shot-and-a-beer braised chicken. We're also had the chile con queso and churritos.
Quality was top notch. The soup was great, the salad even better the shrimp was small like Gulf shrimp, but that was great for a taco, big shrimp don't always work...
